IPhone V Blackberry

I use an iPhone as my main and only phone, I always go back to an iPhone, I always use an iPhone but I have cheated a few times! I have had a Blackberry Bold twice I believe.

So first of all a small history of me iPhones and Blackberrys's....

First iPhone was the second iphone to come out! The iPhone 3G, I cued up for a few hours to get it but they had sold out! I had this phone for just over a year, until the 3GS came out. Then i got out a contract to get the 3GS, I got it in black. Around 6-10 months into the contract i really fancied a Blackberry!

I got a Blackberry Curve maybe? or Bold? And i used it for around 8 months, it kept freezing on me, just generally going wrong, i started to HATE it! But there is something I love about Blackberry's.....

So I got a White iPhone 3GS, I loved it for around 8 months maybe more....then back to a Blackberry Bold in White :-D I have a thing for white things (DON'T WORRY THIS IS GOING SOMEWHERE).

Then the iPhone 4 came out, I said to everyone I HATE IT, I do not like the design, you will never catch me buying it......what a load of CRAP! Around 3 months later i owned a 4, and have had it now 1 year and 3 months.....the longest I have EVER kept a phone!

So now this brings me to my dilema!

iPhone or Blackberry, OR BOTH!

So i put this as my Facebook Status and got lots of replies, I will show you some of the best ones...

K - After an iphone you'll hate the blackberry.... I've gone for the galaxy s2 and its a nice change but iphones still rule the world lol most expensive aswel though.

S - For me I thought Blackberry = workhorse, Iphone & Android = fashion statement! Which did I need!

B - I don't think there's anything you can do on a blackberry that you can't do on an iPhone ... therefore Blackberry = workhorse; iPhone = pretty workhorse :-D

T - what ever you get you have to get one of those cases with all the rhinestones!

So I am kinda torn, I think maybe i should have both, but then that is greedy and costly, and do I really need a second phone??

So i want your opinions......

Only BLACKBERRY or IPHONE - NO ANDRIOD OR OTHER PHONES

I would love to hear your experiences etc....

Am i just getting bored, and when will the iPhone 5 come out (that would solve all my problems!

I have seen this text posted on numerous blogs...

I was REALLY wanting to buy one of these as from the small little snippets of them we have seen they look LUSH!!!! And you all know I am one for a Filofax but at this price you HAVE TO BE JOKING!!!!

I am going to go and try and see these on 28 February as they will be in launching on 18 February, so it should be there! And i will take some photos and have a look! But I BETTER not fall in love!

I would much rather buy a nice Mulberry Wallet or something, but If i have to have it I have to! BUT I AM NOT GOING TO PAY £400 for a FILOFAX!!!!!!!

What are your views on this over priced Filofax??

Hello everyone!

I have a HUGE appology to make, I have not been on here in AGES! I just have been feeling so rubbish in the past few weeks due to my medication running out and being very low that i have not been in the mood to even think about doing a blog post! I am sorry I have failed you all!!!!

But on New Years Eve I did a Youtube video with my friend Damien (What a random night to do a Youtube video i know) so i though i would share it with you incase any of you have missed it!

I should gradually get back in to the swing of things now as I have alot to post about i.e. my 2012 set up, BUT It is January and anyone who has worked in an Accountants knows that it means work is busy! So bear with me!!!

FILOFAX MEET UP BRIZZLE! (Bristol for non Bristolians)

HELLO!!!!!

It has been very very long time since I posted! (That made as much sense as i usually do!)

Well we had a mini meet up in Brizzle this weekend and it was PROPER JOB! (More Bristolian, you will expect a lot of this throughout this post)

So i woke up just after 5am! YAY!!!! Nice and early, got ready, got to the train station, and sat down! YAY!!!!

Kate got on the Train at Plymouth! YAY!!! Was very fun and adventurous! We had lots of long discussions on the train about all things from Filofaxes to Dogs and Cats! It was a lovely train journey, was taking too long as we were so excited and we wanted to just get off and meet everyone!

We finally got to Brizzle Station and went to the toilet, there were magical mystical things in this toilet!

Now i bet you were not expecting that! I certainly wasn't therefore i had to document it with a picture!

We then waited inside the station for Tali and her husband to come! EEeeeek! Was very exciting, i feel excited just typing this, the man told us to tell her to follow the blue line, not the yellow brick road, the blue line, so they did and they found us!

We then went outside to meet Nicola in her car (which she told us it was grey so we expected silvery grey, it was blacky grey lol) we got in all excited and headed to something circus? Where we met Emma at the bridge!

We then went inside and tried to book in to NANDOS for lunch but they did not take bookings, i was going to put it under the name "FILOFAX" haha, i was so ready to do that!

So we decided to go in to House of Frazer? Was it that?? I do not quite remember, ANYWAY we went first of all to look at handbags (now this bit is for CP ;-) )

This will be mine, doesn't it suit me so much!

BEAUTIFUL is the only word i can describe it!

We went into Paperchace concession and i went mad! This is the only thing i took a photo of in there!

Yes i bought them!!!

We then went for a nice little walk in to the center of Brizzle and saw a magical stall with lots of BRISTOLIAN sayings!! Examples included:

We were walking past Joules the shop and i saw there was a boy there holding reindeer horns, cardboard ones to give away, so i went up to him and said "can i have some for me and my friend" he said that we have to go in the shop and browse etc... so i struck up a new bargain, just give em to us and we will stand here for a minute! (We only stayed for about 5 seconds, but i smiled at him that was all he needed LOL).

This took us to the Apple Store! YAY!!!!

We all opended up Philofaxy and Imysworld on as many iPads as we could! was Gert Lush!

There were 5 of us in total (6 if you include Tali's husband but he only ate with us, were too scary)

We then went for lunch at NANDO's I was a Nando's virgin! I had Chips, very exciting i know!

We had a lovely lunch we all did :-) It was gert Lush!!

We decided to next go to Harvey Nichols, where there was a nasty gay man with big ears! We do not like him, but there were nice Chanel handbags which we do like!

We left Harvey Nichols after talking to this lovely gay man (he was not nice at all) and went into another shopping area, the cheap part of Bristol!

It was time for Starbucks and we didnt know how to get to it and i saw a ginger man standing there, so i went up to him and asked, he told us how to get to Costa, so i said don't make us go there we want Starbucks! In the end he directed us there, if in doubt ask a ginger man!

Whilst in Starbucks i got some sneaky pictures of Tali and J together, Tali was not too impressed!

We were about to take a group photo, i was sharing a chair with Emma, when she nudged me and i fell over!

I could not get up at all!!!

Cocktail - Your not alone......

Hello, it has been a while i know, and you all miss me!

But i could not think of one thing to post about today at all!

So I thought i would show you my cocktail, a WOO WOO, and for some reason i put the title as your not alone, I have Olive suck in my head!!!

The cocktail has the following in it (p.s. I do not remember the actual amounts so i just put in double measures of each, made it a bit strong)

2 Measures Peach Schnapps

2 Measures Vodka

4 Measures Cranberry Juice

Ice

You put it all in and shake it like a Polaroid picture, obviously in a cocktail shaker........

But this was a bit too strong for me at the time as i had doubled everything except for the Cranberry Juice, Remember i am TEE TOTAL so this was quite an odd occasion for me!

So i decided to just have Peach Schnapps and Orange Juice! Much better, does not taste as bad and you can even down it!

Very random post i know! I shall try to resume my blogging ASAP!

Deco with a BAD History - Filofax!

I shall tell you the story of the Deco, I was sitting there and all of a sudden from the corner of the screen a email came in, 50% off (do not buy from there, Filofax) I got all excited when i saw the Deco and sold 3 Filofaxes to cover the costs!

It was beautiful looking, it said it would be with me shortly. On Monday i got a dispatch email, I was over the moon (Sharon did too, as she ordered something as well, we were both in the same boat). I waited patiently it said it would be here within 2 days so i thought it would be posted first class if anything and would get it on Tuesday......nothing came, so i thought well its not been 2 days yet so i will wait....nothing came......

I phoned the Filofax help line they told me that Royal Mail is a bit behind with post (BULLS***) so we waited another day like they said.....nothing in the post! So we commented grumpily on Filofaxes Facebook page, they told us that there was a "Technical Problem"! As you can imagine we were a bit peed off by now! (I am trying to be very nice here and not say anything too bad).

After being told all this and us being very annoyed my parcel arrived looking kicked about and had a huge hole in the parcel bag! NOT HAPPY!!!!!

Here is the packaging, i didnt upload many photos to show you but you will get the idea!

The hole looks alot smaller but when it arrive the Filofax box was sticking out!

There was like a muddy heel print on the back and lots of dirt on it as if its been kicked around in a game of foot ball!

Oh and it didn't come via Royal Mail it came via City Link, and when it said it had been posted on the Monday, on the City Link parcel it had a postage date of 30 November so on Wednesday! They really need to sort out their systems, this is getting RIDICULOUS! Therefore i pledge now that i will not buy anything off that site AGAIN! No matter if they give it away or what!

So i opended it, and oh my it was BEAUTIFUL, i looked inside, and it HIT ME (not actually like jumped out and hit me) I saw the rings were a bit bent! So first of all 2 Cuban Zips with the same problem now a Deco, which is worth £195 I know it was on half price sale but still WHERE IS THE QUALITY CONTROL!!!! I thought maybe i should send it back, but then i realised, the same problem will happen again, i will just have alot of stress and frustration and then i wont even want the Filofax!

I know that not everyone would think that is bad but the really Filofax geeks out there know that your paper will get stuck on their etc.....

So i asked my dad to fix my broken Cuban Zip as a test to see if he can straighten it up, and he managed it, so with my Deco he covered her in tissue including the rings so she doesn't get damaged and sort of managed to tidy it up a bit!

I know to most people it doesn't look too bad but really not impressed, if it doesn't get better i will send it to be repaired but then you never know how it may come back! I don't want to look at this Deco and have bad memories as its SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! I am actually in love with it! (Who needs a man haha)

Around midnight last night i decided to move in! (I went to start doing it around 11:00 but i got distracted by Family Guy and Russel Howard [is that what it is _____ good news?] , i've not watched this much TV in a while lol)

It's just really pictures from here on out!

P.s. the Malden won the poll!! But the deco kinda wins over the two!

Starbucks on a Cold Day

This morning while i was on the bus i decided, I am having Starbucks this morning, just as i got off the bus i realised that all the Truro School children were walking down the road, and i didn't want to get caught behind them as they go to Starbucks in a long que and all...

Just as i got off the train there was a group of three in front of me, but they were walking fast, so i sort of put and extra ounce of effort in to get to Starbucks before them, yes i am a bitch sometimes..

As i got in to Strabucks i realised none of them were actually going in so i thought all that effort was for nothing... i was nearly at the front of the que, there was only one couple in front of me, but there is ALWAYS one who mucks everything up and means you have to wait AGES to get a drink!!

Finally i was served, I kinda nearly forgot i had to pay for it, after i asked my drink my feet started to walk away in the hope i wouldn't have to pay, seriously what was i thinking?? I think i may of lost it!!!!

But anwyay i got my drink and oh it is perfect!!!

My first Christmas cup of the year, so i documented it for you!!!

P.s. I ordered a Medium Signature Hazelnut Hot Chocolate! As its the drink with the least caffeine in it, how much caffeine is in hot chocolate?

Pilot G-Tec C4 Review

As you can tell my blog is turning in to pen review land, why i do not know but still i LOVE pens and i thought it gives me something to do!

Today's pen which is from my Cult Pens Haul is the Pilot G-Tec-C4, I ordered on in Pink and one in Blue, I have just sent the pink one to someone as a surprise with something else i was sending them, as i didn't buy it for me, i just wanted to quickly see how it writes in comparison to the blue!

First of all here is a look at the pens and the nibs!

On the Cult Pens website it says that the nibs are 0.4mm but write like a 0.2mm, I am not sure as i do not have a 0.4mm to compare too or a 0.2mm for that fact...

So i tested both pens and i found that at first they feel a bit scratchy, not like there scratching the paper, im not too sure what i think to be honest but they just felt scratchy, after use the scratchyness went away and they turned in to lovely pens!

The blue is so beautiful, but i find the ink is all fine then it suddenly goes faint? bit strange!!You can see it on my to do list below on the F

I know i always seem to write the most random things but still i do not mind!

I wanted to test them on Filofax paper as someone said they may bleed though, so i tested them!

To do list with nothing crossed off....hmmmmmm i have done it all though!!

It doesn't bleed through but you can see it a bit!!

On the next payday i am getting a pack of 10!!! I love them!!!

On Saturday my Cult Pens order arrived, VERY speedy service!!

So i wanted to share with you what I bought, I am going to go in to depth with each pen in seperate blog posts, not all that i bought is here because they were Christmas presents and i didn't want the people who are getting them to see them!

Frixion Comparison 0.7mm to 0.5mm

I am back on the Frixions again, this seems like a bit of an addiction!! Well I have truly fallen for the Frixions, I do not care if they fade with age, or if they disappear in heat, they write so lovely, so i splurged and bought a metal pen part for the Frixion ink to go in!

Here they are in my Malden, which seems to be winning in the poll, but a Spanner will be in the works in a few days!!! :-D

I went for a lovely shop last Friday on Cult Pens (my haul shall be posted around lunch time), and bought some nice Frixions, you will see below!

First of all i lined them all up and wrote which pen nib size they were:

The bottom two are the same just different colours (the metal casing means nothing really, just personal preference).

I then tried writing with all three to see the difference in nib size, and oh my it is visable!

I don't know if i prefer the 0.5mm nib, or the 0.7mm nib, my writing is so much neater with the bigger nib, im not sure if thats the pen or if its actually the size, i just tried putting the 0.7mm in the metal pen holder and it felt so much better, think with the Frixion im more of a 0.7mm girl!!

I will update you on my progress with this!!

Then after I had did this i had a whole sheet of scribblings....

And thought, "what if i put it through my toner printer, as it gets VERY hot"

And look at the result!!

So thats todays little blog post, i need to appologise but the Filofax Review Week is being postponed!!!

Pocket Finsbury Raspberry FOR SALE!

Today i have a small for sale post!

I have had this Finsbury for a while and have been wanting to sell it for AGES, just never got around to it!

It is BRAND NEW, not been used, the only thing i have done is changed the diary, i made it so it was white pink white pink white pink and so on (you get the idea) but it is 2011! (I have a diary for sale as well, it will make sense in a minute)

As you can see its in Brand New Condition, it seriously has not been used, i bought it in March and put it on my self thinking, one day i will use this......

It is £20 and Postage and Packaging will depend on where you live!

Also i have a day to a page 2012 Diary for a Pocket Filofax for sale which is £9.00 (bought for £10.50) I understand this is not everyone preferred diary choice, but if you would like to buy it with the Filofax you can have it for £7.00!

So both together would cost £27!!! Which is a bargain considering the Pocket Finsbury costs £43 new and the diary is £10.50 new!!

Filofax Fatness Issues - Need to go on a Diet!

Sorry I have been blogging a lot the past few days, not like spreading it out, just been feeling worse so need to do this to keeo me busy.....

I have recently got the Cuban Zipped, which i thought would solve all my Filofax problems, it was beautiful, huge amazing! But the rings were apart a bit, but that wasn't the thing that stopped me using it either. There was no real reason, I just really fancied using my Malden after seeing all GCM2012's photos of their Malden on different trips with them. (Also Malden is winning on my Poll >>>>>)

It got me excited, so around 10pm Tuesday night I started the big move! It was tough, i had to take out extra pages i didn't necessary want to, but didn't need as i no longer have a hamster (I miss Polly, it was Martin's mums hamster which we looked after together) and lots of other things that were to do with Martin, which was awful, but my Filofax was too fat, so i decided project diet had to start!

At the meet up i told Steve off for having his Filofax too full after he wrote THIS POST on my blog a few months ago! But then only one week after i was in the same boat! (Sorry Steve)

I moved back to my Malden (i feel i am repeating myself) and noticed that i needed to have my whole 2012 diary set up inside, so i moved that in as well. I will show you some pictures....

This just shows how full it is....

The first picture is my Diary, all diaries, including 2011, I use a week to view, so its not as if its a huge diary!

So i need some advice, there is nothing else i can really loose, i cannot seem to trim any fat from anywhere, but i am concerned as i want to move in to the Osterley in Plum (I am treating myself at Christmas as they care more about you then men and i just need a little pick me up like that). But any ideas? Maybe i should type up some of the note that are in my Filofax? print them out.....will that save much room?? hmmmmm

27 Dresses - Filofax Spotting (Obvious)

Last night, I was at my friend Steph's house watching Hollyoaks, then an advert pops up, 27 Dresses on E4 at 8pm, I was screaming, nealry jumping in the air, it has to be one of my favorite films, check list....

As you can see it has a few things in it I LOVE to watch! That reminds me i need to remember to watch Don't Tell the Bride on Tuesdays on BB3 (Channel 7 Freeview) at 8pm.....little reminder for myself there!

Anyway it came on, and as soon as the Filofax came on the screen I actually screamed and jumped up and down, i asked Steph to Pause the Sky TV (what a novelty that is for me), and i took some photos, I WISH i could of taken more!

Now I would LOVE to plan a wedding one day! Not necessarily mine, someone elses, just to help and do things, oh it would be lovely!

Just after i announced on Twitter the film was on there was a mini bit of excitement! Then Steve said........"That film makes you buy a Filofax every two weeks beware" and OMG i have to agree I WANT ONE!! I just love the look of how it is so full and used and LOVED!! Now thats exactly what i want!

There is only 1 thing that annoys me about the whole film, HE GAVE HER A BLACKBERRY!!! Does he not know, Blackberrys are no where near as good as a Filofax, how do you stick your pictures in, hole punch things etc.....I LOVE THAT FILM

Now i first saw the idea of a Dashboard in your Filofax on a flickr photo from app1eg on Flickr Link to Photo The photo is below, isn't it such a great idea to have it all in one place.

The idea is that when you open your Filofax you are greeted with things you need to buy, do etc, it can be anything, like on your Mac when you open the widgets on the dashboard it comes up with a calendar weather etc.....well the idea is very similar, except its things you have written and pictures you have obviously!

Yesterday, Tracy and I (@icclewu) were discussing her use of her post it notes holder, the Filofax one, here is a picture of mine so you know what I am on about if you do not have one.

So she uses the big post it note for to-do lists and the others to write little notes on, as well as using them as the flags they are supposed to be.

Tracy send me a picture to add to the blog post to show how she uses her Dashboard YAY!!

And this bought me back to seeing the above picture and the idea of a Dashboard.

Which made me create one in my Filofax on one of my beautiful pink dividers!

The top one is To-Do lists, ones that i need to do in my own time that are not as urgent, any normal to-do lists get done in my to-do list section. Confusing Aye? I had to cut it half so i had more room for other post it notes, next time I shall use a variety of sizes but this time i had to do it this way as i was at work on lunch.

The next one is things to buy, at the moment its just a huge list of pens, pens to get people for Christmas and pens i want so i can review and compare to other pens (i kind of like doing pen reviews they are FUN). I shall be ordering all these pens from Cult Pens.

The last one is next weeks blog idea, I have decided that i will have written down here at least one post a day (week days only, weekends i do not always get around to blogging, my work desk is so much more productive at lunch times and before and after work). But next week I shall be doing a Filofax Review a day! Mad? maybe! But i just fancied reviewing some of the Filofaxes I own that I haven't yet reviewed and some I haven't blogged about at all really. I will also be comparing the different sizes, expect proper DSLR photos!!!

Erasable Pen Comparison/Review and Competition

I reviewed the Frixion Pens earlier today, and it got me thinking.....What other erasable pens are there out there?

I searched online and came up with a short list and decided to head off to my local WHSMiths to get some to test out for this, I found two Papermate Replay Max and Uni-Ball Fanthom.

Frixion - for the review Frixion

The Frixion comes in two sizes 0.5mm and 0.7mm, it also comes in all sorts of colours.

Papermate Replay Max - for the review i will call it Replay

The Paper mate comes in 1.0mm which is too thick for me..... I am not sure on colours, as my WHSmiths only had Black Blue and Red, the usual colours.

Uni-Ball Fanthom - for the review i will just call it Uni

This i believe is 0.7mm and is quite like the Frixion in some ways.....it comes in lost of colours when i first saw it months ago there was a huge display with lots of colours which is now long gone...

First tests, Grip and what the rubber is like

Frixion - good rubber as its solid and unlikly to break away, the hand grip is perfect its comfortable well thought out.

Replay - The rubber is AWFUL, its the cap of the pen which is too stiff and just doesn't have the same effect, the handgrip is nice but not as nice as Frixion

Uni - Now the Uni is a bit different, completely different, the rubber is FOAM (more about this in a minute) the hand grip isn't very nice, it looks horrible and feels about the same.

Winner = Frixion 1 point

Writing and Rubbing

Frixion - As expected, rubs out perfectly, leaves no stuff behind and writes like a dream, it feels very pleasurable to use (new favorite pen).

Replay - Ok to write with a bit scratch, ink is VERY faint as well in comparison, the rubber is too hard it has no give it in as its the lid.

Uni - Well the rubber comes apart with use leaves loads of mess and does not even rub out! It just smudges! The writing experience is just as bad!

Winner = Frixion 1 Point

Heat Test

Now this is not really useful just for fun!

Frixion - The Frixion disappears when exposed to heat but does come back a bit when frozen or cooled down!

Replay - Disappears as well!! I am guessing they use the same formula!

Uni - NOTHING HAPPENED!!!!

Winner = Uni 1 Point (but i would refer to give to Frixion for no reason)

PRICE!

Frixion - 87p for a pack of 3 in Tesco!

Replay - £2.49

Uni - £2.99

Winner = Frixion 1 point!

So the points add up as follows:

First Place - Frixion with 3 Points
Second Place - Uni with 1 Point (should be in 100th Place, it really is that rubbish)

At the Philofaxy meet up i was given some presents, as i said in my post about the meet up HERE and i said i was going to do a special post on just something that Kate gave to me that everyone else had participated.

Well as you all know, I have been very upset and down recently (if your my friend on Twitter and Facebook you will of seen all my depressed statuses) and she wanted to give me something to cheer me up!

Pilot Frixion Review!

I was in Tesco this morning just looking around, trying to spend money as you do at 8am.......

I was trying to find things to review on my blog that I haven't looked at before (well thoroughly) and then something jumped out at me, something that i know ALOT of Philofaxers love! Something that people seem to get excited about, having smaller barrels with still the same 0.7mm insert etc...and then i thought, i have tried them in the past but never reviewed them, and i decided lets start now!

I do have one quick question - ~~Does it come in Pink?~~ See Below

So i bought the 0.7mm pens in a pack of three, as that was all Tesco had, it came to...(i was actually going to type the amount in the following is my actual real reaction as i typed)...oh my gosh, i just looked at my receipt to see the price and i was SHOCKED, now i just need to take another photo as proof to show you!

(I know i paid a really odd amount i just had so much change i was trying to clear it out my wallet, it worked)

I almost do not believe it, on the shelf it said £2.98? That means a second trip to Tesco tomorrow morning after visiting Staples to find some more pens to review!

As soon as i got in to the office i first of all thought, I shouldn't of bought thoes Hello Kitty Christmas Cards (I have already bought 50 cards and just bought a pack of 30 as they had Hello Kitty on), then i got on with taking these pictures!

So i tested the pens out.....

When i rubbed them out it was still a bit visable so i tried to re-write over the top to see if there was much of a difference....

I was surprised, it really didn't seem to make any difference!

They are so smooth to write with and lovely to hold, i can see why people do love these pens, and the fact you can rub them out as if you never wrote anything (well you can just see it...) but you get the idea!

The only real thing I DO NOT LIKE, is the black is a bit too "grey" for me, I prefer my blacks to be as black as the nights sky.......did i really just say that.....anyway you get what i mean!

But i will definitely get these pens again!

~~Can anyone tell me if they come in pink??~~ Thank you for telling me i can get them from Cult Pens I love that site!

Tomorrow I will try to review their rival, as I believe there is a similar one that comes in pink but you use the lid to rub out.....interesting i hear you shout!

UPDATE:

I was looking on Cult Pens and i saw something i thought was interesting, it said
"We suggest that this pen is not used for secure documents such as cheques, etc." , then i investigated further and found out the ink does not like heat!

So i thought i would have a mini experiment in my office, here are the pictures: -

I put it on the heater for roughly 1minute maybe a little less, after about 10 seconds i could see the edges getting lighter and turning white, which made me wonder, why white, but then i am not too bothered about that at the moment, but i read further and found the way the ink is erased is because as it heats up it just evaporates or something, which i thought was MAD!!! But how crazy that it did actually disappear from heat!

There is my little experiment for the day, I am now converted, I love Frixions, my writing looks so nice with them, I AM HAPPY!!!!

P.s. NEVER LEAVE YOUR FILOFAX IN A CAR, I believe that someone in the Filofax community did a blog post on this actual fact they even put a thermometer in and then froze the paper and the ink came back a bit, if anyone knows let me know i shall link it! It was Filofax Fixation!!! YAY!

Filofax Meet up Bristol UK

There will be a car taking us to the other side of Bristol for Lunch and shopping in Filofaxish shops

Lunch: Ask or Pizza Hut, any ideas would be great :-D

Shops - There are quite a few Filofax stockists in Bristol it would seem, but i thought we could go to Paperchase as there seems to be a large one in the center, then maybe some of the smaller stationery stores that sell Filofaxes so we can buy random stationery too??

But i would love to have some feedback from some people who are interested!

So far there are 4 others interested i believe :-)

Philofaxy Meet up - NOVEMBER! 2011

As you all know i went to the Philofaxy meet up this weekend, and here is my magnificent post!!! (Warning, i didn't take too many photos at all).

I left the house at 5:45 (woke up 4:45) to catch my train at 6:30! Yes nice and early, I still had to change trains at 7:45 (why do i do these things all in one day?). I arrived at London at 11:24 I think we were a few minutes early, Tracy and Christa had struggled with meeting up so they were running late, I was desperate for the toilet so had to go, RIP OFF 30p (I'm joking, its kinda reasonable, but then they get hundreds through).

They finally got to me outside WHSmiths at 11:50, and we went to the Tube, the fun bit eeek!!! We went on the Bakerloo Line then the Central Line and got off at St Pauls, I wanted to walk across the wobbly bridge (WHY DID I NOT TAKE PHOTOS GRRR). I directed us there as i am very good at getting around London (just hate catching a tube alone). We got to the bridge (Tracy suffers from being terrified of bridges with no walls and water below, hehe) not the best place for her, she pretty much had her eyes closed across the whole bridge!

We arrived at the Tate and ordered drinks, It was so great to meet EVERYONE!

Tracy ordered her Wine (I think every blog will of covered Tracy and her bottle ;-) ) hehe

I will show you all the photos that i took now!

Tracy and her DREADED Apex, Which she loves just as much as Tubes and bridges!!! hehe

I love the picture of Tracy, Steve and I! :-)

After we finished at the Tate we went to the Filofax shop at NEAL STREET!!! YAY!!!!

I spent alot more than expected!!! I didnt even buy my budgeted things (woops) but thats all another blog post!

I was given present by a few people at the meet up, i want to show you! (There is one present that Kate made that everyone did something too, that deserves a blog post of its own).

Christa gave me some magical sticky notes :-) one for lists and then some hearts :-)

Trip to The Eden Project

My mother and I went to the Eden Project on Friday as a day trip after my flu jab (this will mainly just be a picture post as I am a bit behind and need to catch up!

First of all we went for Soup in the cafe/restaurant, it was self service we were very unimpressed, you had to choose a block of wood and a bowl and serve yourself completely, it was all a bit odd we didn't enjoy it that much, the soup and bread tasted good but the service was very strange....

Here are some views from OUTSIDE

We went in the hot one first (is it called a biome?) It really felt like we have gone on Holiday was lovely!

While we were in there, you had the option to climb up quite high and look out over the whole area, it was up so high the temperature was 36c and humidity of 89%!

The platform and stairs wobble as you walk up as its suspended, but the scariness was totally worth it the view was beautiful! People looked like ants!

Back down on ground level!

I want to fill my room with that bunting was beautiful!

The BBC Were there are it was children in need and they were filming form the Eden Project in the evening!

Louis Vuitton Delightful - FOR SALE!

Yes you read that title correctly! I am have fallen out of love completely with my Louis Vuitton, not that there is anything wrong with her, its just a personal matter!

I am not having her up for sale on here (unless someone does want to buy her) I haven't thought about how to sell her yet, but i just wanted to break the news to you all! (NOT WITH EBAY THOUGH)

I have had to use her today, and i am going to have to use her on Monday, I just find her a bit too big and awkward for me, I really want a Totally, its got two thinner straps and it is zipped up, or the Miu Miu bag that i like!

I feel so sorry for her as we have had a good life together, she will be turning 1 on 28 December 2011! But ever since my mum bought me my Alexa, its hard to go back to the Louis Vuitton without feeling a bit disappointed!

My Louis Vuitton is beautiful she is perfect if you need a bag this huge, but i need one similar size just a different shape and also with different straps!

Therefore, i have come to the decision she has to be sold! We have had a lot of fun adventures to London, and around where i live but my Alexa is just too pretty and lovely that I have no real need for her!

The Big Move!

As you all know yesterday i posted that i just got a Cuban Zipped Personal Size in Saddle Brown! Well here is my move from my Finchley to my Cuban!

Now i really really really love my Finchley in Vintage Rose so much, its so beautiful, the leather is soft, there is not really one bad thing that i can say about it BUT i have filled it too much, there isn't even anything i can take out to make it emptier! So I needed something bigger, which is where the Zipped comes in, the rings are 30mm instead of 23mm and it is zipped to all my paper i put in for no reason is SAFE!

As you can see she was very full, I also wanted to use the new dividers Christa had made for me! :-)

I didnt take any photos during the move as i forgot, was so wrapped up in my little world, but in a few days i will do a whats in my Filofax post!

A post man turned up a while ago and i was very surprised, i wasn't actually expecting any post, i was a bit like, hmmmm for me? really? but i haven't ordered anything.....

But then i realised what it was!!!! And i was excited, its a very QUICK unboxing as far as imysworld unboxing's go! But I just had to quickly share it with you!

With everything that has happened over the last week this really cheered me up :-) Thank you (there will be lots of in depth posts on this in the coming months).

So i want to look very nice and pretty as last time my hair was a mess, my dress made me feel fat, i just felt very rubbish!

I tried all the clothes on below and they were quadruple layered and made me look awful! did not look good, unless i have gone down to size 12 in the past week? lol So any ideas of a nice top and cardigan for me?

Dividers and Post It Notes Haul From Christa

Eating Problems

Hello

As you all know i like to write about things that have happended to me in my life every so often, this started when i was in school as every girl was starting their period!

When i was about 14, I started to get an eating disorder, i was living off 2 packets of crisps, a few bottles of water and one proper main meal a day, I was never hungry always felt sick, it was horrible!

In the last year of school teachers started asking me what was wrong, and trying to get me to drink those milkshakes that help you gain weight, trying to talk to me, just trying to get me to fix the problem, i carried on like this for ages, every so often i would have a few days where i would eat alot but not often, i always felt ill, sick.

Then just after i started college i met Martin, my eating started to pick up, food didnt scare me as much. I ate so much i had not eaten in years, i was just actually eating 3 meals a day and more! Actually getting enough calories for once! I dont know what it is about him but he is the only thing that stops me from eating like i used too, when ever I am away from him i don't eat, there is just something about him that reminds me to eat. I just seem to not be able to my brain just wont let me, I hate it!

After we had been together I went to the doctors as i hadn't started my periods (you all know that story) and they originally thought it was because i was under weight, well under weight, but they still did the test anyway.

Recently, like when i went to Brussels, all the food was made for us, no choice in what we got, it was either Veggie or Meat eater. When i get food put down in front of me i feel a sence of panic, the second course was Rice!! I can't eat rice, it makes me sick, but i pushed it around my plate i ate tiny bits i just struggled so much! It really scares me when something is put down for me to eat and i just really feel like i am going to panic. I hate it!

I have been struggling recently as well, since i had a really bad stomach from having a Chocolate moose with Coffee in it, (well caffeine) I have felt rough, i've not been able to eat, i've been too scared.

I don't really know how to finish this off, other then Thank you for reading.

2012 Filofax Planning

I am sorry I have been very not with it the past few days, just having a bit of a bad time, but anyway on to the excitingness of planning for 2012 (already planned once or twice, third time lucky?).

So for diary's i want to use: -

Week to view Filofax Diary
Month to View Diary (the two pages one)
Year Planner (which i might use to draw the weather in every day, random i know)

Other Inserts: -

Day Planner - for days when i have lots of appointments or train journeys etc, i want to use these so then i still don't need a page to a day diary which i wouldn't use i can just use them for every so often if my day is extra busy, well that is my theory anyway!

I will also have a plain piece of paper at the begining of every month to write things on that need to be remembered for that month like voucher codes that will expire etc...

This will all be in personal, so later this week i will be posting Pocket diaries for sale!!!

Handbag Issues Number 2 - HELP NEEDED

Hello

So after showing you that handbag the other day, I decided to buy it!!!

Here is a picture to refresh your memories.....

So i just received it and took it out the postage bag, I like it BUT I think it may be a bit too big for me, there is one feature i LOVE about it, afterall this is going to be my winter bag for carrying lots with me sort of thing, you know how you get in the winter you always take more than you need, and i do not want to use my Mulberry Alexa any more i hate her getting wet and having heavy things i her, she will be my weekend bag!

Ribena is next to it, its quite a large bag really, alot larger than expected, but it has so many nice pockets!

A normal drink bottle fits in the side pocket! YAY (I have longed for a bag which has this feature (which is why i want the Louis Vuitton Totally in MM, ~~anyone want to~~ buy it for me).

And then finally a picture of it on me!

(it makes me look skinny)

Is it far too big or is it an OK size for a winter bag, it has alot of structure so stays stiff if you get what i mean? I need to decide by TONIGHT! As then i can return it tomorrow. I just really need to know if its TOO big for me, I love it otherwise, just not sure about the size.....(i could fit so much stuff in it, how exciting)!

Handbag Issues

As you all know i have a beautiful Mulberry Alexa which i love and a Louis Vuitton Delightful, but its getting towards winter and the weather keeps raining on poor Lexie!! I cannot deal with it anymore! I want something large enough to carry all to work, Filofax included! But not leather to mark and just sensibly priced (I do not want to use LV as i dislike it and it falls off my sholder CONSTANTLY).

I like to have a large bag in winter to have some extra clothes in JUST IN CASE i get cold!

So i have found this bag which i think maybe perfect but i was going to try and win one on ebay rather than pay full price, but i want your opinions on it!

And lovely interior, so what do you think please let me know in the comments, your thoughts about the bag not about me buying another bag (i only have 2 so you cant get on at me too much).

Dummies Guide to a Philofaxy Meet Up

Whether your a Philofaxy Meet up Veteran or are a Virgin, this could help you (obviously people who have been to a few already know what to do, but this is how i organise for the meet ups!). Think of it as an ~~idiots~~ Dummies guide! (me being the ~~idiot~~ Dummie) And you do not have to follow EVERY step!

One Month of More Before

BOOK TRAIN TICKETS - You can save lots if you book up to 3 months in advance using the Train Line tips to save money can be FOUND HERE!!! I could probably write a few paragraphs on that but thought would be easier to give you a link!

Two - Three Weeks Before

PLAN TUBE JOURNEY OR BUS JOURNEY - Use the TFL website to plan how to get there then write it in your FILOFAX this can save a lot of time looking at the station and working out ways to go etc... Or ask someone helpful and friendly like me to help you work it out! Also work out which tickets you need to buy, unless you have an Oyster Card!

PLAN YOUR MEAL - Now this isn't as important, but for fussy people like ME or people with special dietary requirements if you plan in advance you can let them know if you need anything specific? The menu for Cafe 2 !

WORK OUT IF YOU CAN MEET ANYONE AT STATION - Just if your a bit nervous about catching the tube alone decide if you want to meet someone who is going to meet up at a station, like if your both going to Paddington then you can easily meet someone, just email around until you find out, it never hurts to ask ;-)

WRITE A SHOPPING LIST - This is one Steve tells everyone to do, so i will add it to my list, he says "when you get to the shop you will forget everything you want to buy, so if you write a list you cannot forget" WISE WORDS!!!!

One Week Before Trip

ORGANISE CLOTHES - Sort out what you want to wear on the day, have comfortable shoes (VERY IMPORTANT WE WALK A LONG WAY)

Two or Three Days Before Trip

ORGANISE BAG - Put all you need in your bag including a camera, pack all Filofaxes, except for ones you need.

CHECK YOU HAVE YOUR TICKETS - very important, make sure your tickets are safe and secure somewhere you know, also if you need a rail card or an oyster card put it all together! Filofax is a safe place! As you wont forget that will you!

Night Before

DOUBLE CHECK - Double check you have EVERYTHING! Write a check list if your as sad as me!

PUT EVERYTHING IN A CONVENIENT PLACE - Put all your stuff in the same place ready to leave!

On The Day

HAVE FUN!!! And do not forget anything, do not panic, just be excited!!

If you do forget something, you can probably buy it on the way so do not worry!!

This weeks FILOFAX Spottings!

I have been thinking about doing this on my blog for AGES, but i NEVER EVER get proof of seeing a Filofax (we do not have TV you can pause and rewind so it makes is very hard to doing these posts).

I will start with the one i ~~DO NOT have a picture of~~ 4OD!!!(forgot about that) but just thought i would mention it.

Monday night E4 (28 on Freeview) One Tree Hill, around 10 minutes in you see Haley's sister Quinn looking through a Filofax booking someone in for a gig, it looks to me like a zipped Lindhurts or Guildford maybe a Finchley (there the only black zipped filofaxes i can think of let me know if im wrong).

I tried to get my camera ready then after that it went off the screen I WANT PAUSE REWIND TV!!!

UPDATE - I am so happy that i thought of 4OD now i can bring you all these things that i see i will write a note when i see something then screen print it for you all to see!! YAY!!!

The next Filofax Spot was on something that came in the post yesterday! It was VERY exciting!!

It was the FRONT COVER of the Viking Catalogue for Winter 2011!!

I believe its a ~~Finchley~~ Finsbury (sorry im a bit obsessed with my Finchley, and the names are very close) in Raspberry, but what size? I think its A5 ~~but the way how it all looks it could be A4, but i didnt think they did one that big~~? It is A5 Steve has said so! There are 4 rings in an A4 (which i forgot) THANK YOU STEVE I'm sure STEVE can tell us!! ;-)

So that was my Filofax spots for this week!! I will try and do one of theses posts every so often when i collect together a few pictures like this or just programmes!! YAY

Finchley Vintage Rose - The story so far!

As you all know I recently bought a Filofax off eBay the beautiful Finchley Vintage Rose - WON THE FILOFAX BATTLE - So i just wanted to do a small overview of the Filofax, a small comparison with the Malden then finally my start of the "set up process" which i have PROCRASTINATED the arse off!

Here is a small compilation of photos I have taken of the Finchley (be warned, the colour does not look right, and i tried hard).

I was totally supprise by this Filofax, it is so FLEXBILE! Just beautiful, if anyone ever gets a chance to get a Finchley no matter what colour get one, they feel beautiful to hold!!

I then decided to compare it agains my Malden, and the leather feels so much more Luxurious than the Malden, it just feel more beautiful more loved!

I prefer the Vintage Rose anyday, its such a beautiful colour, i know the red is really deep any beautiful but it just does not compare to the Finchley. Even though i prefer the pocket layout of the Malden, i love the back pocket of the Finchley as you can use it to put pictures in! YAY!!!! Cat shrine!

We now should have a public Naming ceremony, I have named her Florance, or Flo for short, as she feels like a Flo, a beautiful name for a beautiful Filofax! She will look beautiful with my Alexa!!!

So now on to my minor setting up, which im gradyally doing but i am lacking dividers, so i have made an exchange (well i have dividers but there all red and orange, does not go with pink clashes AWFULLY) with @sallyhj0 she needed a 2011 week per a page diary and she makes her own dividers, so i sent her alot of nice filofax things too in return she will make me some dividers! YAY THANK YOU!!!!!

So here is my main dillema with the Filofax: -

After that i have just written up my Xmas list, and accidently put 2012 instead of 2011, which means it can be used 2 years in a row!! early 2012 planning is now in session!!!

I also have 2 today rulers, one for to-do lists and the other for dairy, important for me to not get confused!!

Birthdays are written down too, one thing i need is telephone number sheets!!! IMPORTANT!

For a while now I have been looking for a beautiful Vintage Rose Personal Finchely, then last Sunday I was told one had come up for sale on eBay! I jumped for joy I was so exicted! I was going to my parents the next day and i had no money to buy it, I had to ask my Dad to bid for me! Luckly enough he agreed, so I placed a bid to get rid of the reserve so no one could Steal her away from me!

I got to my parents and watched her, this was the Monday, a day after it went on eBay, it was already up to £11, I started to believe I was not going to get it, in the end I payed £5.00ish under my budget which I was very happy with!

The lady was really nice, she said she was glad it went to such a lovely happy home, or something like that, I was too excited! The description said it was being posted 2nd class recorded! BUT she poseted it 1st Class recoreded and the nice post man delivered it today (all the other post people [pc] we get are grumpy)!

So i photographed unwrapping it!

She had wrapped it in tissue paper like a present for me!

It came with a 2012 diary and a lot more inserts than i was expecting (i didn't read what it came with, was too excited).

I left her mad feedback saying things like she is Magical and Amazing etc..... I also sent her a lovely email!

I feel sorry for her!

Anyway there will be more to come about this beauty soon!!

Pocket Filofax Malden REVISIT!

This is a general update I have changed a few things, I will breeze through some and DETAIL you on other bits!

So here is my lovely FULL beautiful Grey Pocket Malden, its STUFFED and LOVED!

As you can see the FIRST difference, other than the face its alot fuller now, there is a Happy Burger thing that Rori gave me AGES ago in a letter and i had no use for it then suddenly thought how cool it would look there so i hole punched it and put a plastic thing on the back to keep it safe! Adds more colour to it!!

The new things i have added to my pockets are: -

A few weeks ago after i posted i had bought a Pocket Malden, i put an announcement out asking if anyone had a spare set of Page per a day diary, one person replied! @ZeigeistofZoe and i received them on Wednesday after waiting on the post, i was so supprised when i realised it was a whole BOX!

Things I Couldn't Live Without - September

What could I not live without in September? Now I got this idea from Paper Love Story, and chose to do it. So here are a few different things I could not of lived without in September, things I used daily, things that I just love, I hope you enjoy this and if you want to see more of these let me know!!

P.s. These are in NO particular order!

Macbook Air

I got my Macbook Air at the beggining of the year or the middle im not sure, but recently my main laptop, the one i edit all my videos photos everything on, DIED! This happend around a month or so ago, but since then i have been relying on this beautiful little Macbook Air, and she has saved me, shes not as fast or has as much memory but i would be lost without her!

Zebra Sharbo Diary Pen

I bought this at the end of August and since i bought it, i have gone NO WHERE without it, its the best pen I have had so far (except for fountain pens which i love), and you can change the inserts, it also has a pencil, this has been my main writing pen for the whole month and i dont see it going anywhere for a long time yet!

A5 Adelphi Filofax

I bought this just before going to Brussels, and it helped me so much, i took notes in it, i planned the trip so i knew where i had to be, i also planned my trip to London for the Philofaxy Meet up in it! It has been very helpful! And the PERFECT Size!

Blue Inhaler

Throughout September my Asthma seems to of been really bad, maybe its the change in seasons but if it wasn't for it I would be struggling to breath alot more than I am!

I would not be able to carry all these things (except my laptop) without this bag, it is so comfortable and it was so useful when going around London at the Philofaxy Meet up as it ment i had one less thing to worry about, as it was accross my body infront of me, it felt safe! I love this bag so much (Review and stuff coming soon!)

That was all the things i have not been able to live without last month, the most important things to me! I hope you have enjoyed it, was all a bit random :-)

Stabilo Point 88 Fine 0.4 Pen Reivew

I recently ordered two Stabilo Point 88's from Cult Pens the best pen site in the world! They have AMAZING delivery and just such amazing customer service!

I ordered a beautiful Pink and Violet (but its more of a dark purple).

Some more up close pictures!

When writing these pens feel lovely to hold you have to hold them at more of an angle then normal but i find it makes my writing a lot neater, which is a good thing of course! They write very smoothly, they do soak through thinner paper a bit, the pink one not so much but the purple definatly does.

I did a small Filofax paper test.

This was applying very little pressure, about the normal amount, the more pressure you apply the more it goes through now that's stating the obvious i know but still.

The grip is very comfortable. When putting the cap on I am always so worried about catching the nib and bending it (it happened to me when i was very little).

But i love these pens and i want to get a big selection of them i have ordered some similar ones that are a different brand which i will review when i get them!! Eeeeek I love pens!!!

Out of 10 i would give them 9, only a bit down as they go through on normal Filofax paper but then what pens don't? I haven't tried it on cotton cream paper, but i will do that when i do a comparison between the other brand!

Sorry it wasn't the longest review, but i am going to have more when i compare the two just wanted to test out my new picture ideas. Thank you for looking :-) xxxx

Cute Cats & Lunch

Today I met up with a lovely lady from down the road, who used to give me a lift to work everyday until she was moved to a different branch, we had a lovely catch up lunch, was great to see her! I miss traveling with her!

After we went to the local RSPCA place and looked at the animals, I took photos of my Favorite Cats you will see below!

Seriously try and say these are not cute cats!

This little black and white kitten reminds me so much of Jess :-(

And if i was going to adopt a Cat this is the one I would choose (the one at the front) (There was three of them!)

How to Make Pages on Blogger - Old and New

A few people have asked me how to do this now so i thought i would do a blog post to explain it easily!

For OLD Blogger

Step 1 - Click Edit Posts

Step 2 - Click Edit Pages

Step 3 - Click New Page

Its really that simple!

For NEW Blogger

This one is a bit more complicated, only because I have not yet used it properly, but here is how i have found to do it!

Step 1 - Click the little arrow (First Circle in Red Below)

Step 2 - Click Pages (Second Red Circle Below)

Step 3 - Click New Page

Dream Filofax

Recently I have been trying to work out what would my be DREAM Filofax, the one I would make if I was the designer at Filofax, for AGES I have been thinking it would be a Barbie Pink Malden, but over the past few days my mind has gradually changed!

This dream Filofax would of been a beautiful Barbie Fuchsia pink, which the Barbie Logo on the right hand corner with really sparkly gem stones (pink obviosuly, but a paler one that compliments the Fushsia perfectly). As you open it it would have a simlar pocket layout to the Malden, as i love the pockets so much they are perfectly formed! It would not be glazed like the Malden, would be more of a soft leather, that scuffs.

I would have special inserts made they would be floral, but nice complementing colours, duck egg blue, silver, pink, purple, aqua, all thoes sort of nice colours. The diary would be a week to view (no notes) on pink paper, like the pocket pink diary!

The refills would all be pink and there would be special blog planning pages in there that FILOFAX NEED TO MAKE soon! I am not too sure on what the blog inserts need to have but oh they would be useful, have idea section and everything afterall this is the information technology age (RIP STEVE JOBS) but they really need to come up with some new and more modern inserts, not that i do not love what they have but just to bring them more in to the 21st Centry!

But after all this time of dreaming of my perfect Filofax i one day saw this beauty, it was at the Philofaxy Meet up, Caribbean Princess has a picture on this post! Now its not my perfect Filofax but i am so inlove with the colour, Saffy bought it with her!!

It was the beautiful OSTERLEY in PLUM, i have had the website open for Filofax ever since i am a little obsessed!!! It has beautiful pink stitching!!!

Oh i want it so bad, i want to organise my life in it!! I really crumble too easy at Filofaxes!

RIP Steve Jobs

RIP Steve Jobs, my life would be so different without your devices it makes me feel really upset you have passed away.

My earliest memory of apple is when my dad bought home an Apple Mac computer from work when I was 4 it was black and white and had this game where you bomb a cart and horse!

I will always stay with Apple you are the best company, but it's such a sad day!

Sending your family and company all the love and hugs you can from an iPhone!!

How To Cheer Up Your Desk - Adorable Desk Decorations Part 1

Todays Adorable Desk Decorations will be some Sticky Note Bunting for your desk, you could even make it for a party, it may take a while but looks so effective!

I was sitting at my desk at the beggining of lunch and thought, oh i could make some adorable bunting for my desk! So i did!!! And here is how you can do it, its easy, taks 5 minutes tops and can turn your dull desk from normal office to adorable cute place to work, which will help with your motivation and also help you to be more efficient!

To make these decorations you need:

5 Minutes when your boss isn't around (preferably lunch time)
Stick Notes, any shape size or colour, thats up to you!
String or ribbion, but in your office String, if you dont have string cut up 3 elastic bands!
Stapler WITH STAPLES
Scissors (not too important)
Pen (if you want to decorate)

To start off you need to get your post it notes then pick them up in the colour order you want and stick them together until you get a pile.

It saves time when putting it together.

Once you have got them in the order you want (you can change the order any time its not set in stone).

Put your sticky note lying down on the table with sticky side facing up, then lie the string accross the centre, you can use tape to hold the string in place but its not necessary.

Then fold it in half, from corner to corner.

Once you have folded it get your stapler and then staple just below where the string goes through as you want to be able to slide it along the string to adjust the distance!

It should look like this!

You repeat the process until you have the desired amount and patter of sticky notes!

Trim the string so you can have it to the lenght you want.

Which will then look like this:

After you can either keep it plan and stick it up or you can do a pattern, the pattern can be anything you want below are some examples!

Great German Train Robbery I Believe?

Hello

People have been calling the 9 Euro sale the Great German Train Robbery I believe, so I will carry on with that, I only bought 3 things as everyone knows, anyone who bought a 4th that was a lovely Rose Finchley did not receive it unless you have the luck of a pantha! *Disclaimer, i do not know how lucky panthas are.

UPDATE: Steve from Philofaxy was the person who first used the Great German Train Robbery ;-)

I am still looking for a Personal Rose Finchley as they are beautiful Paper Love Story has made me fall in LOVE with hers!

Anyway back to the thing in hand, now i have only bought a Wallet for me, which im not going to show you as they have been seen everywhere so not as special as the name makes it sound!

Grey Gravy Granule Pocket Malden, What's in it?

Hello

Alot of people ALWAYS request me to do a "What's in your Filofax" blog post and I NEVER end up doing them, but guess what I am going to do one about what is in my New Grey Pocket Malden!

It is not set up for next year with all the diaries I bought in London I am using for next year are completely different, there are 4 of them in total, a Day per a page, month to view with tabs, week to view and a year to view, its going to be very complicated and will do an updated post nearer the time, but for now i will show you my current set up, its not as exciting as that will be! (I might even do a post soon to explain the whole thing). BUT it has got some very pretty bits, which are thank you to a fellow Filofax lover and her AMAZING pocket set up!!! Which you know im obsessed with that post!!

Anyway so now on to the actual insides of my Pocket Filofax after that VERY LONG introduction!!!

I know the cover does not look the proper cover but i was too excited and completely in the mood at work to write this!

Now if you see the inside, i will show you what is in that lovely looking set of pockets!

Bit bazzar collection i know but i have, some petals from the flower Tali bought us at the meet up, a letter from my boyfriend from years ago, jot pad, £10 off voucher from Staples, HSBC Online Banking thing and finally a Worry doll, i do actually use it and tell it all my worries, ive had it since i was about 10 or so, and it really does work!

The first tab which you can see above is Info, and behind this i have just information things, things i need to remember i have, my details and emergency details, birthdays and telephone numbers: -

A list of all the Direct Debits that i have, a budget for the month, how to order prescriptions from the doctors, log ins for Intersex UK and finally a Tube Map.

Then the next tab is Agenda!

These tabs are from Jotje, Thank you so much Jotje!!! Love you!!!

This is where my 2 days to a page diary is and not much else!

There will be more to tell you about this section in my "updated" blog post in a few months!!!

Next section is Notes, but it looks like it says, no titties, yes i know, i have been corrupted in my office!!!

Behind this i have to do lists and lots of other lists, Christmas lists all sorts!

Then i have my 2 bucket lists, one is Holidays to go on and the other is my actual bucket list they are not nearly filled in enough to be happy with!!

Then Pro's and Cons about a boob reduction, i have been considering alot recently!!

The final tab is Alfabet, but i dont really use this so i will show you what is at the back of my Pocket!

What's in My Bag - All Stars Post by Icclewu - Tracey

Hello All

So another What's in my bag post today, but from a new Filofax friend, Tracey, She sent me the post it notes in the post yesterday!! What a lovely lady!!! And now its her turn to do a guest post for me YAY!!! I really am loving this seriese of What's in my bag posts!!

Hi everyone. I would like to start by thanking Imy for letting me guest blog as part of the Philofaxy All stars team. I am a newbie blogger and can be found here at Rapunzel's World so be gentle with me J.

I have loved Imy’s other guest blogs for “What’s in my bag” so thought I would give it a try. So here we go................................What’s in my bag.

The bag I am using at the moment is made by Animal. I bought it last month from the animal shop at York shopping outlet.

Here is a photo of it.

It is all black, with a zip pocket inside, and a pocket under the flap at the front. I use this bag for everyday use, and all sorts of things get thrown in there, especially when I usually have a three year old in tow.

So here is a photo of the inside.

Inside the main pocket of the bag we have the following:

My personal Malden in vintage pink, a pack of antibacterial wipes (you never know when they might come in handy) a blue pen from Imy, my bic 4 colour fashion pen, 2 Lypsyls, a packet of post-it notes given to me by a friend, and the round black thing is my earphones as seen below.

They are fab. I use these as they have the in-line control thing for volume, skip track etc, and they work well with my iphone.

Also in the main pocket are the following;

My house keys, a pink bobble, a lolly??, a conker???? And a stylus for Nintendo ds?????? There is also a receipt for a book bag for my daughter’s nursery school.

Also inside there is my lovely Filofax Special Edition purse.

I love this purse!!

Also, the little pink thing is my Playboy mini nail gadget thing

This gets used more for other things, than actually nails.

Then we come to the inside zip pocket

This is where I keep my make up.

Nothing out of the ordinary there. Pressed powder, lip gloss, lip stain, eye liner, tweezers and a pink bobble.

Then finally we come to the outside pocket under the flap.

Inside here we have the following;

A pen from the Stratosphere hotel in Las Vegas, 4 mini papermate pens (I love these pens) post-it notes, (I love these too) 2 lollies?? An envelope which has some of those Morrisons Disney cards in that were for a friend, and a hole punch for my filofax.

So there we have it. an insight into what is in my bag. I hope you have enjoyed having a little nosey :-)

Beautiful S&L Filofax Dividers!

Since starting my Filofax College two lovely ladies from it have decided to start to make some pretty dividers, as not everyone is crafty, i thought i would share it with you all, as i know you all like to customise your Filofaxes, well they have decided to create lovely dividers using different card, including some famous designs i.e. Cath Kidston.

Pocket V Personal - Diary Comparison - 2 Days To a Page

Morning!!!

I just wanted to do a really quick post this morning of a comparison between my Personal Malden in Crimson and my Pocket Malden in Grey which have both got the same Diaries, i will go more in depth with this post in the future but just wanted to show you the difference of the diary!

As you can see the Pocket really does look like my Personal has had a baby with another Personal, (my Personal is a female, but have forgotten her name, sorry Personal Malden. My Pocket is called Amelia) they do look very beautiful together!

Here is the comparison from a far, i do have closer pictures which i will show now!

To tell you the truth the page size doesn't look too different, its just a little smaller, from these pictures they don't look all that much smaller to me! I am very happy with the difference in size of the Pocket and Personal, I am really getting used to using a Pocket instead of my A5 or Personal and i am LOVING it!!!

Lovely Present!

Hello!

I was talking to Tracey the other night on twitter (@icclewu) and she said, I have bought you a present it was something we were talking about the other day! I was very excited about it, she told me she posted it on Friday, I was in bed then at 1ish the parcel turned up on the Saturday!

I was very excited I had an idea about what it could be as it was the only thing i could think of that we had spoken about!

The funny thing is, i was going to buy this on Friday in Staples but said no, as i spend £5 on Avery lables already!

So here is the parcel!

So i opened it and this is what i found!

ARROW POST ITS!!!!! Just what i have been wanting!!! It made me so happy Thank you so much Tracey!!!

She even put in a little letter :-)

So here are the magnificent Post its and they even have PRETTY PATTERNS!

And they are Super Sticky Which makes them even better!!!

Filofax Reveal - I think this may be the ONE!

Hello

As you remember i showed you a bag from the Philofaxy Meet up last week!

And now you LUCKY people are going to get to see all my purchases!

It will mainly be a picture blog post! Sorry I can't think of much to say about it, i will obviously tell you about all the inserts i bought etc.... YAY!!!

So first of all the bags, yes BAGS!!!

In the small bag i have the following, i am going to break it down, dont worry!!!

Diaries, Day to a page and Month to view with tabs! YAY! I also have year to view and pink week to view!

Lots of colour paper, i have ordered another set since as well! I like to colour coordinated!

To Do lists, yes two packets i write alot of to-dos!

Birthdays pages

Credit Card holders and plastic wallets!

Hole punch! For my handbag, i know that not everyone agrees with the plastic one, but its what i wanted :-)

Jot pads YAY! Love them!

Then some lovely things Judith gave me or Jotje, I love her!!! :-)

They are so pretty and look great in the Filofax!

Then Dee had given us a goodie bags!

It came with lots of useful inserts which i will use! YAY

Now on to the Filofax

I bought it empty!

I love this Filofax I will show you it in alot more detail soon!!

Filofax College - Autumn/Fall Term

Sorry Students to of been away for so long!

I will not make any excuses! I will just crack on with the lesson!

So today's lesson i have used bits from this website: - Get Organised

They do courses and other things to help you get organised its amazing, you should all follow them on twitter @getorganised

So this lesson is going to be taken from two of their blog posts To Do List Management and Efficiency Masterclass. Read the full post there!

I read them and thought they were so useful i should share them with you for Filofax College, I have not typed most of the following just changed it a bit to make it more Imysworld, which is why i have told you all the sources where i got it from.

I copied the below from Efficiency Masterclass as i thought it was such an amazing idea, i know its majoritly obvious but still wanted to share it with you.

3 take charge tips to get you started today:

End every work day with a brain-dump. Simply list, in one place, any idea, project or task you need to complete. Freeing up this space in your head brings clarity, opens up room for more great ideas and brings closure to your day.
Start every work day by choosing your most challenging tasks first (before diving into email please!). These are the big fat and juicy to-do’s that will drive you closer to reaching your goals, increasing revenue or fulfilling your core job function. Constantly question yourself if what you are choosing to work on right now will drive you and/or your business/company forward or not.
Practice this technique for the next month till it starts becoming a habit. Consistently focusing on the top 20% of your list will increase your productivity by 25%.

Here are some easy to implement, actions that will keep your to do list more manageable:

Keep A Master Action List

Keep a master list in a separate worksheet on your desktop or in a big book. As new actions arise, add them to the master list.

Transfer Action Into A Weekly Calendar

Select the 5 most important actions for the week and transfer these into your calendar.
Allocate enough time within a day to complete each action.
If one or more of the 5 actions require extensive time, reduce the number of actions for that week.
If you achieve one important task for every day, you are effectively creating 365 small steps towards reaching a goal in a year. This is significant progress when looking at the bigger picture.

Celebrate Completed Actions:

Reward yourself for the actions that have been completed.
Do not lose sight of the importance of the bigger picture as mentioned above.

Review The Master List Monthly:

Ensure that all important actions are being addressed in order of importance.
Remove items that have been actioned, but that you did not transfer into a weekly calendar.

The bit i have put in italics and made blue i found so useful, and it has been making me do things on my to-do list GRADUALLY but i have been doing them!

Haul Fat Face & Staples

Happy Weekend!!

Today I had the day booked off to get my next T injection as I am so low on hormones, my last injection ran out 2 or so weeks ago, I’m feeling very low and rubbish.

I got a phone call yesterday from the Doctors cancelling my appointment as in the 2 weeks they have had they have been unable to get a T injection to the surgery in time! Sorry but I just have so much trouble to get my HRT that I am getting so fed up with it all, it brings me to tears.

So I still went to my mums today and saw my kitten, I have missed her!

She’s miniature, she is an adult now but so small, its adorable! I love her! Ive not seen her in a few months :-(

We went shopping in my local town to get birthday presents for my dad and grandma, got my grandmas but not my dads, did not have a clue what to buy him!

I will show you my reveal then explain it, my mother was very nice to me, when I only wanted to try it on then buy online when I get paid next month!

Little Dora loves to get in all the pictures!

So furry inside! Even has an earphones slot and pocket to put phone in! eeek!!!!!

VERY EXCITED!!!

She bought me a pair of jeans too as they fitted! And SIZE 14 (I’m normally size 16 so I’ve lost weight)

I bought this little bracltey for charity £2.50

What an amazing load of things!

I also bought some things from staples £5 for 3 sets of the Avery labels YAY I have been wanting to try them for AGES!!!

I will review them sooon!!!!

Bus Vandalism

I am gradually feeling more and more like a grumpy old lady at the age of 21!

Every day I catch the bus to work, and EVERY day there is some graffiti on a seat or a chair that has been slashed then stuck together with duct tape, a melted hand rail, what is with the youth of today, why do they get off on vandalising something they have to use every day.

They have to catch the bus as often as me, but how do they get away with it, how can you sit there melting away plastic on a bus leaving a huge hole WITHOUT anyone noticing or saying anything!

It is also not fair on the bus companies having to fix these problems and having to up security with cameras and things just to stop people. Even littering on a bus is disgusting!

I see every day at least 4 or 5 bits of chewing gum in between the window and the seat in front, its called a tissue! USE ONE!

I am so unimpressed with the fact that people give such little respect to these buses, and then the poor company like Western Greyhound, which I travel on daily have to absorb the cost or increase our bus fairs, then people complain!

If they stopped the people defacing the property in the first place we wouldn’t have this trouble!

As you can tell I'm pretty annoyed with other people who just don’t care about things for other people, why should I have to sit and look at graffiti saying, “Mercedes Slept with a dog”.

People really need to grow up!

End of rant sorry to bore you with it but I just had to say it! I'm FED UP!
