Office Depot Sticky Notes Review

Today my stationery order came (well the one for the office). I wanted to try some different post it notes (well not actual branded, there sticky notes sorry, how un PC of me).

So I ordered these which came in a set of 12, with four different colours!

There not all really neon like there supposed to be the Green and Orange were a bit of a let down to be honest!

But my two favourites are the Pink and Yellow!

At this moment how much do you all want me to be your Secretary, getting the best post it notes, but for cheap prices! And you will see more about what I do at work at the bottom for birthdays!

I first of all started with a sticking test! To see how well they stuck to things, there actually REALLY sticky, not too sticky not too little sticky, there perfect!!

I have had four stuck on my desk throughout the day since I have got them and there all still standing!

The next test was the feel of the paper used, it feels like 80gsm so normal paper quality, which is perfect!

The final test was when you write on them with a biro does it go through, are they see through or anything like that does the colour change etc… you get the idea!

So here is my test, I wrote, it was a bit random but I wrote the date and the temperature:

It didn’t come through the paper, but the ink changed to more of a darker blue, as it’s a normal blue biro!

But the pen wrote lovely on the paper so that was an extra bonus!!!

So all in all these post it notes are AMAZING!!!

Exactly what you need!!!

So if you’re the stationery buyer and you shop on Viking just do it, there amazing quality and I'm a very happy (non customer, but happy to use at work hehe).

I promised I would show you what I do for peoples birthdays in my office, this is going to make you all want me as your Personal Assistant haha!

On the desk there is confetti!!!!

See how great I am!!!

Anyway I hope you have enjoyed this review/birthday decoration!

Filofax Affair - Sorry Malden!

Hello

As you all know I'm always in search of the PERFECT Filofax!!!

And I believe I found it, I know that the Malden is the Perfect Personal Filofax, I could not get any more perfect when it comes to a Personal Filofax than I have with that one!

But I had a little bit of excitement the other week and was obsessing over a Filofax, so I messaged Dee to see if they had any in stock and how much was it, as it was discontinued I was thinking, oo that might be cheap!

And it was! Dee got back to me and oh I was so excited I asked her to reserve it for the Filofax Meet up so I could buy it on the day, but she said we cant reserve sale stock, so I decided I will wait, and hope!

A week passed it was all I could think of, I discussed with people over twitter they kept telling me to buy it!

I didn’t have the money for it at all, but then its only money, so I phoned her on the Friday before bank holiday Monday and said, I want it, I gave her my details and she put it through for me, I was worried the bank may decline it, I hadn’t checked my bank account balance, but I had to have it. I sold some Filofaxes to make up for it!

Then on the Wednesday I was talking with a friend who had also ordered it but in Scarlet! She said the post man had been and gone and no Filofax, I started to panic I was getting worried. Out of no where around 12 o’clock the POST MAN ARRIVED!

He had a parcel I felt so nervous yet so excited, it was it! I was just screaming and jumping all over the place inside, but outside I was cool as a cucumber, I signed for it and then waited until he left the room and took a photo of the packaging!

She had sent it SPECIAL DELIVERY I felt so special for it coming like that!

What beautiful writing she has!

I turned it over and saw the address sticker my heart fluttered with excitement!

I opened it carefully and there was a HUGE black box, the special gift wrap box, as I slid it out I felt ever so excited!

As I lifted the lid I could see an invoice it had all the details on it, where it had come from the price etc, Dee had even put a smiley face on it! I felt very privileged to have got that! Lucky lady working in the most AMAZING shop in the world!

Postage said £7, but I looked on the box and it had come to £9 something, it made me feel even more special, I just could not believe my luck opening all this!

Did you see it was £90 now £45, what a bargain I had got!

Under the invoice was something I did not expect, it was a Filofax bag, I felt confused, but put it to the side to investigate later!

Then I got to the beautiful tissue paper, how can they make such beautiful tissue paper, its just dream like.

I carefully unwrapped it worried there would be something hugely wrong with it as it was so cheap or just something to ruin this perfect moment, but nothing I was amazed!

Then in front of me was my new baby! Looking so shiny, as soon as I saw her I decided on a name, Coco!

I opened her to see the diary pages that Dee had put in for me to look at, oh it made me so interested to have the 2 days per a page, don’t they seem like heaven!

So I put the Filofax to one side and had a look at what things Dee had put in the bag!

There was this whole set with dividers different papers everything I was so excited even a set for a pocket!

Just too many things to list!

I will leave you on that note, and I will come back after the Philofaxy meet up with a “Whats in my Filofax post”, so you can see how she is set up and how I'm using her, all her pockets and everything!

Love from Coco and I!

THANK YOU DEE I LOVE YOU!

Imysworld Euro Trip - Brussels

Bonjour!

As you all know I went to Brussels last weekend! (and I didn’t see the Muscles from Brussels) Very sad about that!!

I just wanted to share a few random pictures of my Brussels experience!

NOT SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE UNDER THE AGE OF 16 ;-)

The train from Plymouth to London at 7ish in the morning, we were around Teignmouth (bad spelling) or somewhere similar, where my I pointed out the “Devils Thumb” but she called it the Monkey’s penis! Lower the tone!

Our Taxi driver from Paddington to St Pancreas telling us all about how he likes to dress up in Pink Tutu’s, yes he LOVES to dress up in Pink Tutu’s! I was as surprised as you are! But he was a lovely man!

Out of the Euro Tunnel and where are we! CALAIS!!! We made it to France!

We arrived in Brussels!! Two hours late may I add, not very reliable the Euro Tunnel!

Just after we arrived we sat and had a drink, I had a Cola Light (I hate diet coke, its silly) and my friend had a ice cold Beer!

They had condom machines in the Street, now I bet you were not expecting that from a trip to Brussels! I certainly was not! They even had some condoms called Jeans not I'm not sure what they were supposed to be but I have an imagination of navy blue condoms with pockets? Think I'm a bit wrong there arn’t I!

Magical Beer Glasses!

Kabab Shops with nice people

AMAZING looking waffles! I didn’t try one was too full!

MAGICAL Evien bottles of water in Glass bottles! Ohlittlecloud would be AMAZED!

And then they MULTIPLIED as you can tell I'm very shocked by this!

AND SOME AMAZING GRAFFITI!!!

Then I strapped monkeyton up for the trip home!

Paddington Station had some AMAZING doughnuts which had STRAWBERRY PINK GLITTER ON! How could you even dream about them!

Then I got home and back to the REAL world, now I'm very far behind with everything!

I hope you enjoyed my trip, if your my friend on Facebook you will see more pictures!

YAY

SOLD! - FABULOUS A5 FINSBURY IN PINK

Hello Everyone!

Its been a long time!!!

We shall sit down and chat soon I promise!

But for today I have an item SOLD!

My FABULOUS A5 FINSBURY IN PINK!

I am letting her go as I have ordered a A5 Rose Finchley in the 9Euro Sale! (which didnt come because they didn't WATCH STOCK!)

Here are some pictures, I need to let you know that all the contents that are not in there will be in there like the note pad at the back etc….

It will come with a week to a page with notes DODO PAD diary, as this was the diary I have my Dodo pad in and I have no other 2011 diary to put in it!

As you know the Pink Finsbury is a little lighter than this, its just because the flash went off as my room was dark! If you want some more detailed pictures I can email them to you, which I will take with my DSLR!

The tiny bit of black dirt on the leather and the glue stain on the mesh for the Id slot were there when I bought the Filofax, so that’s just from it being built in the factory, if there made in the factory, I imagine them to be made by little fairies!

As you will notice in the picture of the Dodopad up close there is a tab missing, the tab is in my Filofax box I was using it to trace the shape and size of dividers it will be replaced before sale!

The Filofax will come with a new note pad for the back, coloured note paper, 2011 Dodo Pad, to-do lists and other different papers, I will try and put a variety of things in for you!

The Finsbury has 30mm Rings, 4 card slots, one like an ID slot, then two bigger slots outside of those, a zipped compartment at the front then behind it all a large slot for putting A5 paper in and other things.

It has two pen loops and a notepad slot at the back!

The notepad slot at the back is a lovely bright pink, like Barbie pink it is very beautiful!

As you can see the back is in just as good condition as the front, there is hardly any wear what so ever, I still have the original box it came in and it has lived in there most its like, it was taken on 2 trips to work and one trip to London then put on the shelf! She has been used a little at home as well but not enough for me to feel she is for me to keep as I feel as if I am not giving her enough love as she collects dust!

I bought her in Staples for £77.00, she has not really been used and is in perfect condition!

SOLD

Thanks for reading!
