SOLD! - FABULOUS A5 FINSBURY IN PINK

Hello Everyone!

Its been a long time!!!

We shall sit down and chat soon I promise!

But for today I have an item SOLD!

My FABULOUS A5 FINSBURY IN PINK!

I am letting her go as I have ordered a A5 Rose Finchley in the 9Euro Sale! (which didnt come because they didn't WATCH STOCK!)

Here are some pictures, I need to let you know that all the contents that are not in there will be in there like the note pad at the back etc….

It will come with a week to a page with notes DODO PAD diary, as this was the diary I have my Dodo pad in and I have no other 2011 diary to put in it!

As you know the Pink Finsbury is a little lighter than this, its just because the flash went off as my room was dark! If you want some more detailed pictures I can email them to you, which I will take with my DSLR!

The tiny bit of black dirt on the leather and the glue stain on the mesh for the Id slot were there when I bought the Filofax, so that’s just from it being built in the factory, if there made in the factory, I imagine them to be made by little fairies!

As you will notice in the picture of the Dodopad up close there is a tab missing, the tab is in my Filofax box I was using it to trace the shape and size of dividers it will be replaced before sale!

The Filofax will come with a new note pad for the back, coloured note paper, 2011 Dodo Pad, to-do lists and other different papers, I will try and put a variety of things in for you!

The Finsbury has 30mm Rings, 4 card slots, one like an ID slot, then two bigger slots outside of those, a zipped compartment at the front then behind it all a large slot for putting A5 paper in and other things.

It has two pen loops and a notepad slot at the back!

The notepad slot at the back is a lovely bright pink, like Barbie pink it is very beautiful!

As you can see the back is in just as good condition as the front, there is hardly any wear what so ever, I still have the original box it came in and it has lived in there most its like, it was taken on 2 trips to work and one trip to London then put on the shelf! She has been used a little at home as well but not enough for me to feel she is for me to keep as I feel as if I am not giving her enough love as she collects dust!

I bought her in Staples for £77.00, she has not really been used and is in perfect condition!

SOLD

Thanks for reading!

All Stars Guest Post: Laurie (What's In My Bag)

This is an All Stars guest post from Laurie, who writes Plannerisms and contributes on Philofaxy.

Many thanks to Imy for letting me do an All Stars guest post!!

Here's what's in my bag! You're not going to believe the amount of stuff I carry around with me on a daily basis!!

First, the bag: it's a Filofax Finchley expandable tote, in its expanded state. You can read more details about this bag in my post about it on Bagsey blog.  In this expanded state this bag can hold A4 file folders, that's how big it is. Notice it looks a little stuffed.

Here's my bag open with everything in it:
Below is my bag and everything I carry in it on a daily basis! Yes it's an insane amount of stuff. I'll go row by row and explain what each thing is and why I need to lug it all around with me!
The short answer is, I live in Jakarta, Indonesia so I carry a lot of things I would not need to have on my person constantly if I lived in the US or UK.

Below is the top row of stuff I carry in my bag. The first item is reading materials, in this case a Science News magazine. I spend a lot of time in the car as a passenger--traffic here is so insane everyone has to have drivers, which is not nearly as fun as it sounds. Think loss of independence and aggravation when the driver is not there to pick you up.  Anyway, I never leave the house without something to read, because it takes at least 45 minutes to get anywhere at all, even the grocery store, and often longer when traffic is gridlocked. The next item is my planner, an Extra Large Moleskine 18 month weekly notebook (which you can read about in my post here) in a Nubuck leather cover from Dodo Pad (which you can read about in my post here.)  The XL Mole measures 7.5 by 10 inches, giving you an idea of the size of it.  It's kinda huge.
Next to my planner are a Sharpie pen, Bic 4 color pen (traditional colors) and a Bic 4 color pen (fashion colors, read my post about it here).  Next to my pens is a map of Jakarta that I never leave home without.

Below is the middle row of things I carry in my bag. The black thing on the left is my awesome wallet that my sister gave me years ago. It has a metal frame and latch so it opens out flat like a book, has loads of cards and currency pockets, and is by far the best wallet I've ever had. Even though I got the pink Finsbury Filofax wallet before it was discontinued, I'm waiting for this awesome wallet to completely die before I switch over into it.

Next is my Nokia phone, which you can read my post about here.  Next is my beautiful personal size Finsbury in Aqua (read about it here) as my Medical Filofax. After my daughter had a couple of medical emergencies here I realized I can't leave the house without my Medical Filo.

The brown leather book next to my Aqua Filo is my Moleskine Info book (see my post about it here) in its Renaissance Art leather cover (see post here).  I write all Indonesia-specific information here including contacts, doctor and dentist numbers, school info, restaurants, friends, etc. This is a great way to consolidate all local information so it doesn't get lost and I don't have to wonder where I wrote it.  Next is my makeup case containing lots of lip balms and glosses, comb, mirror and paracetamol. Next is a tube of Avon SuperShock lip gloss. I love the gloss, but why does the tube have to be so gigantic? Next is my soft case containing my Bloc sunglasses I bought in Scotland back in 2001, they are practically indestructible.

Below is a bunch of other gear I have to carry everywhere. A bottle of water, because it's hot and I'm always thirsty. Sunscreen and mosquito repellent, because we are so close to the equator we'll burn in just a few minutes without sunscreen, and because daytime mosquitoes carry dengue fever here so I have to always have mosquito repellent for myself and my kids. Antibacterial hand wipes because it's dirty. Children's fever-reducer medicine sachets, because if we are stuck in traffic for hours and someone is ill with a fever (which has happened already more than once!) I need to have meds with me.  Immodium, because tummy trouble is all too common here, and again I don't want to be stuck in traffic for hours and have a major tummy issue. (Hasn't happened yet, luckily!!)  And tissues, because the pollution gives me sinus problems and I'm constantly blowing my nose.
At the bottom are Ricola lozenges for throat irritation caused by the pollution, and food bars to have something to eat in case I or my kids get hungry in the car.

As you might imagine, I'm looking forward to moving away from here next year, for lots of reasons including the fact that I won't have to lug most of this stuff around with me anymore!

Thank you very much to Laurie for doing a What's in my bag post for my blog for the Philofaxy All Stars tour, i feel very lucky to have all these great people posting on my blog it makes me happy!!! :-) <3 xxx

Filofax Placement - Things I love Thursday

Hello my lovely buttercups

So I was looking at my desk and noticed I have a perfectly large space, I was thinking what could I put there, then I realised, if I don’t put my Filofax there its going to mean its going to be filled with RUBBISH and my desk will be an awful mess as usual.

So I took it out of my bag, and look how perfectly it fits, its meant to be, it looks like that space was specially reserved for my Filofax, I didn’t even have to move anything the prefect space was already there!

In the picture is the following: -

PG Tips Monkey
Viking Direct Voucher
Buzz Lightyear Etch a Sketch
Ribena
Tissue
Boss’ Diary (nothing compared to mine!
Some random blue tack
And the other printer on my desk!

So I was wondering where do you keep your Filofaxes when at work?

I used to have mine down on top of my Delightful on the floor (it breaks my heart to know that I do not have a special desk to put my Delightful on. When I first got her I would put down a material napkin, no matter what the surface was to protect her from the mean harsh world, but I don’t anymore).

So to the matter at hand, my Filofax is my Totem as you may know (if you don’t read my previous post about Radical Self Love go have a look now, its only 3 below this one or 4).  And as its also my Radical Self Love bible, I need it next to me to write complements, and other things in, feelings moods (which I completely keep forgetting, and when your on HRT your moods are ALL OVER THE PLACE).

So as its Thursday, one part of the homework is to do a Things I love Thursday page, (Gala Darling does a post every Thursday with things she loves) I believe, and its also going to be interesting to do, so from now on I'm going to try and write one in my diary every day!

I thought I would list a few of the things I love on here too!

So I will write 10 things on here out of the 100’s I can think of!

  1. Marks and Spencer – They do magical lunch, I love to buy all lunch from there.
  2. Blonde Hair – I'm going blonde tonight I will do a before and after photo, that’s what tomorrows post will be about.
  3. Musings of a Caribbean Princess – She really has made my day by putting a link to my “What’s in my bag” post, hehe
  4. My Filofax – I'm feeling a lot of love for it at the moment, A LOT OF LOVE!
  5. London Trips – I'm going to London on Saturday and its my favourite place so I'm pretty excited!
  6. Bic Limited edition 2 colour pink and blue pens – as I seem to be able to just keep buying them from my local Tesco, I have around 30 now!
  7. Dzintra – The lady that drives me in every day, we have such interesting conversations, and the other day she bought me an eye shadow in pretty purple! Its like pearlesent! (ok I spelt that wrong but I don’t know how to spell it)
  8. Getting my Imy back – its nearly back and I feel good, I know most of you wont understand but I will explain one day!
  9. My friends, I have only recently started to get some amazing friends, I was pretty much friendless until around October last year! And now I have two friends who is see quite regularly, and I love them so much, they have really helped me!
  10. Online friends – I do not know what I would do without them, I don’t think I would of come out the other side the way I have, I would never of been able to help all these people if it wasn’t for all them supporting me! I love you all so much more than you can know!

So that is 10 of my things I love Thursday!

Today at lunch I'm planning on getting on with my Radical Self Love homework as its such awful weather and I went to M&S this morning to get my lunch so I have no need to go out!!!

I am seriously so excited about getting my hair done tonight, I wonder how it will look? I will be so disappointed if she cannot die it blonde, anyway good luck imysworld with your hair lol!

Much Love <3 Imy xxx

Radical Self Love Bible - With my new Finsbury

Hello

This is going to be my first ever filfoax post, as in without me talking on camera! So let me know if I do anything wrong!!!

So first of all here is my beautiful new Finsbury A5 in Pink mmm! I am so happy with this lil beauty J

It looks a bit Raspberyish here but its defiantly the pale pink, I love it so much, here is the inside then on to what this post is all about!

Ok so now on to the subject: -

RADICAL SELF LOVE  - MY BIBLE

So this is my Radical Self Love Bible, and the first two things I have to do is choose a totem and write what I want this all to achieve (I have not done that yet but this is just an introduction to the beginning of my Radical Self Love journey!) So I chose my totem to be a my filofax!!! As im going to take it everywhere with me it s going to be my beauty!

So I first saw this because a friend of mine – Rori – heres a link to her blog http://www.rorirants.com/, posted on facebook a link to a blog post by Gala Darling, and here is the post, http://galadarling.com/article/your-radical-self-love-bible, well that’s all the links for now! And I was totally interested from the minute I saw it!

So I poked around a little bit and found a video on UStream, and you have to pay $7 to watch it, I did, and it was amazing!!! I wrote down so much H/W from it felt like being back at school, so over the next few weeks im going to do post about it as I go on and im also going to upload a Radical Self Love photo of the day every day!

So here is the front to my Bible: -

I stuck pretty sticker jem stone things over some letters and some stars to make it sparkly, I love sparkle!

Here is a few pages of the homework I wrote down: -

Here is the start of one of the bits of homework, its my Self Love Idol

I’ve only just started it, so it will be a lot longer when I start!

Right so that’s all for now I will try and do another post this week about how ive been using my new Filofax I love it soooo much HEHE

Much Love <3 have a nice day!
