Today we have a really really stuffed Filofax, and oh my doesn't it look amazing! I love a stuffed Filofax, but who doesn't!

She showed it to me because I loved the picture from her Diary of an overstuffer hehe

I think I am too tidy in my Filofax (not my writing but paperwork and stuff) that it never looks like that!

Also here is Joshua LaPorte beautiful Filofax Set up from This Bug's Life too! It is beautiful!


I found this blog a while ago and started to follow it on Bloglovin' not a website I really go on very often but the blog is beautiful, it is called Seaweed Kissess and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this blog post by them, it is their last week at a glance

I love her diary pages, they are beautiful the layout, that is the kind of thing I want for 2016! I need to find out what the diary pages are! Off snooping I go....

They are Day Runner inserts! Oh that sucks, they don't sell them over here! I shall have to find an alternative option!

Look at all these beautiful photos they have shared of thier Nude Orignal binder!

Oh can I just stare at all their pictures and blog all day please? Just please!!

Finally, I just saw today a post about the Skins casts over the years of how they look now, READ IT HERE, I loved skins my favourite characters were:

I just so wished they continued the characters a bit in to the next seasons as we never found out what happened to Cassie after she left for New York, and didn't Sid go after her? I think there was a sort of episode about it all, but I feel none of the Skins episodes ever ended! This makes me sad! I saw it said one has a blog so I went to have a look at her blog, it was Liv, she's actually called Laya Lewis apparently, I never really knew any of their real names I just felt it was all real..... I obviously knew it wasn't but was nice to think it was. I really need to re watch all Skins then maybe find some places next time I go to Bristol! Anyway she sort of wrote a response to the article saying where she is, but not really being sure, I quite enjoyed it. I kn they had Skins Fire, Pure and Rise but I think I missed them, I really do think I should catch up soon...

Gillio Mini Update

Today I fancied doing a little update as much as I could on my Gillo, as I was looking at her next to me thinking, she looks really beautiful today, not really sure why?

This is only a small update, there will be a proper "What's in my Binder" style post in the future, not sure when that will be though!

As  you can see she is looking beautiful as ever, I have cleaned her with a wet wipe recently as she was looking quite dirty, and by luck it worked! She is just as pink and pretty as she was before!

You can see close up she is still a bit dirty though! Not really sure how to remove it or clean it! I am scared what ever I use will mark her beautiful leather!

The clasp looks the most dirty, you can see my little pen mark there which happened on Friday, or Sunday I can't quite remember, it was a lot worse but I rubbed it for a while and it came off! I was so nervous! I need to get a darker binder!!

When I open her up I see this really cute Little Mermaid card which I found in WHSmiths and bought just as a dashboard kind of thing, I like the text "Make and Entrance" it is cute! It just makes me feel happy!

I cannot show you the current or past diary pages for a while, but when I can I will share them with you, as I need to cover lots and lots of stuff up!! Thats why you have this shot!! Looks pretty though!

This is my only blank week so you can see I still have my Smythson inserts!  Love the gold edges but the blue paper gets a little annoying as when I need to tip-ex it looks a horrible mess! Looks beautiful against my binder though!!! Going for something lined next year but not sure about the style etc...

So pretty paper!!

Crocidilla is 1 year old in 10 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love her still just as much but will need to get a new one soon due to the light colour being so dangerous!!!

I have been looking on the internet and recently keep looking at This Bug's Life  I love love love looking at her blog, every time I search something on there I find loads and loads of posts about what I need to find!

When looking to get a Jet Set tote for my birthday her blog helped me so much! It was amazing here is one of my favorite posts I have looked at so far recently!

A Jet Set Day - I love this post because the bag looks amazing in this post, and I love how she has broken down her day how busy she was and all her appointments, I wish one day I will be able to write as many appointments for one day as she does! - Simple dreams.....

I found this picture a few years ago on Facebook circling around, I re shared it last week! It is very true!

Imy Webfinds #1

I thought I would do a little kind of webfinds post like they have on Philofaxy but things I have liked, could be youtube videos, blog posts etc... Enjoy

I love this video by Rachel Dunaway I have to be honest and do not know her and have never seen her video's I do not think but this video is so nice, I really enjoyed it, her binder is quite beautiful and it was only  Part 1, I best get watching Part 2 at some point! I keep seeing little screen shots of other videos on her channel, I am going to subscribe and watch more!

Buzzfeed is a great website, I only really started loving it in the past few months maybe six at the most, now I am so addicted!!

There are quire often cute stories on there!

I love those posts above because I love the notes they make, I like to see inside their notebooks and I just find them quite entertaining the process people seem to go through!

I think Gala Darling was one of the people who really kick started people getting obsessed with Filofaxes and having them as a fashion thing, but her posts are so pretty!

One of my favorite blogs is Paperlovestory! She just has such a beautiful blog, I once met her, and I just didn't know what to say, it was like meeting a celeb! She is amazing and sweet and beautiful!

I really also LOVE Janet's blog, this bugs life!

I am loving seeing her use of her Van Der Spek undyed leather it just beautiful!!! It has been magical seeing it grow!

The Crazy Life of J is a beautiful blog by a lovely lady, I have to be honest and say I have followed it for a long long long time but only recently started to look on it properly, she has such lovely posts!

I think that is enough for today, I could probably add loads and load more. I might do another one one day soon!

My first memory of a Filofax

I have quite a lot of memories of Filofaxes when I was younger, playing with them drawing in them, but my longest memory and oldest memory is about a certain Filofax my mum bought home, it looked like a Bond, but I do not really remember the brand or name.

I think I was about 7 or 8 I think, I had lined all my little toys up and sat them down, and was pretending to call a register. The Filofax had those Time Management inserts in the ones that fold out, as I remember it made a perfect register, as I could do crosses and lines, to mark absences etc (as I am writing this I feel like I was a bit mental, I hope I am not the only person to ever play teachers with my toys).

I would do it a few times as I really enjoyed writing things in the Filofax, but I had no need as I was too young to need to write anything, so I just stuck to using it as a register.

Every time I wanted to play with my toys I would do a register just to make sure they were all present and correct. It is best to keep track of your toys this way I believe then at least you have a record? I really didn't think of it like that, I just found it fun.

I imagined this story was a lot longer than it was!

What was your first memory of a Filofax?

The reason I joined HSBC...

When you see the title to this post you may be thinking, what is she going to talk about, why does she need to tell us what bank she joined. Well there is a story to it that I thought some people might like.

Just before I tell the story, I am very happily no longer with HSBC, I am now with Barclays and much happier, I really never liked HSBC!

When I was in secondary school in my first year, like a lot of schools, we had a bank come and visit, the bank that came to us was HSBC, I was very young and impressionable, as you can imagine only being 11 years old!

We all were sat down in the assembly hall, watching and listening with amazement, they were offering us a bank account, I already had one with Santander, but it didn't have a card, or anything just a book that you had to use to pay in and pay out, very old fashioned these days I know! First of all they told us we could have a SOLO card, so we could take money out at cash points, but we were not able to pay for things with it.

This idea really excited me, then they showed us an example of the card we would get, it had CDs all over it! I was so excited thinking oh yeah! I will be a grown up with a bank card, next they told us we would be able to pay money into our account every Friday at school as someone would come in to collect our money. I thought GREAT this means I can save all my dinner money, as I never actually ate anything really at school, and pay that in ready to spend and take out of my account.

All these things were getting me more and more excited, then they dropped the final thing that was about to make me so excited!

We were told we would get a FILOFAX! It wasn't a brand Filofax but it was a cheap version much like the metropol, in black. I don't remember if it said HSBC on it, but I was so excited with this prospect of getting a Filofax I signed up straight away when I got home.

We had to fill out forms to get the account of our dreams, and to get the free Filofax.

A few weeks later my shiny card came in the post! I was as excited as I expected, it was so cool, I was grown up with a bank card.

But the issue was my Filofax didn't come with the Filofax, I don't even remember receiving a Filofax, I think they got me all excited to get a Filofax and never gave it to me, I have no recollection of receiving it!

That was my disappointing end to my story.

But it shows never sign up to a bank account just because you are offered a Filofax......

General Update

As I haven't been here since NOVEMBER!!! I thought a general update might be a good idea!

Firstly, you will all be happy to know, some might already know, that I am still in Crocodilla, you can see a three part post if you click here - Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 of how she was set up before I went MIA!

I will update you on all her changes and everything I am doing with her at some point in the near future!

I stayed at a Forest Holidays Cabin in the woods (well meadow) at the end of November, it was amazing and beautiful, except I was ill the whole time, I still made the most of it but it kind of made it less fun!

Then it was the best holiday ever CHRISTMAS!!! All the lights all the christmasness I just love the festiveness I don't really care much about anything other than the lights and the sparklyness and the glitter! I can't see why we cannot have that all up all year.

It is nearly a whole year since my Breast Op!!!! If you have any questions or want any advice on going for an op let me know! I want to write how I feel after, bra shopping and all, which I believe will be part 3 of my story, as I haven't written about my recovery as yet! I am sorry to of failed you there!

Camera wise - I have moved from film photography to more digital, mainly due to cost of film! Development is expensive and it is a big commitment! I got a beautiful Olympus OMD EM10 for Christmas (I paid part of it) and have been taking it out on photo adventures across the moors all over the place!

I got a Mini instead of my Polo, after I haven't felt all that happy driving my polo since my accident! Which is nearly 1 year ago! 

And I have been experimenting with lights and taking photos of them at night:

I want to do a review of my camera, it wont be a technical one, as I have no idea will be more of an Imys view of her camera! Also a tutorial on how to take some of the photos above, well how to create them, the photo taking bit is quite easy on my camera!

TBT / Guide to Setting up a New Filofax and Keeping it Organised

It has been a long long long long time!!

And I am not sure if it is supposed to be Take back Tuesday or Thursday, I really don't get how these things work? But today I just wanted to share these videos I made in 2011 for you!

I want to over the next few weeks show you how my ideas might of changed since this video or how I organise and the things I find useful might of changed, I am not fully sure so bear with me.

But I love these videos because I love the little ears I am wearing in the second two, those were always my ears of choice and I miss wearing them, and I feel writing my blog and doing youtube videos is my time to wear them.

2014 Gillio Tour - Part 3

Hello!!!

Sorry, I have had a bit of a hiatus again, I was so close to being a regular blogger!

Here we are again, now we are at Part 3 of my Tour around Crocidilla my lovely Gillio, I haven't used her much in the past week or so though, which hasn't been good, I do not know what is wrong, but I can't concentrate or remember anything. I can't even remember to write things down, my brain seems to be loosing it, and I do not know what I can do to help!

Next section in my Gillio is my Finance section! YAY

At the front (usually) is a Budget for the current month, I never really stick to it, but I like to try and budget a bit so I have all my lunch/Diesel money separate from all my spending money and Direct Debits so I do not overspend, which is so hard to do!  But I am getting a lot better! YAY

But on the front this time is a sheet of paper with my Car Insurance workings out, as I had an accident it all went up, and I was trying to beat the quote from Volkswagen of £1,500, which is 10% of the price of my car.... I am really not going to pay that much when I can get just over 1/3 of the price!

There is one of my lovely Hema stickers at the top, this was the last time I saw them, I do not know where I put them or where I last used them! I am pretty sure it was on this page! They were such cute circles with pretty things on!

Next there is a break down of each weeks spending, which shows how much I have spent under 4 categories.

Here is an example of my Finance Sheet, it is all probably wrongly worked out, but it is more of just a guide so I can see where my money is going, as if I am honest, I can never remember what I have paid for on my card, so then at least I have some sort of guide, but I have been really bad with this in the past few weeks and I haven't tracked my Finances really all of November!

Next is my Planning Section:

At the moment in my planning section is a few pages on planning for going to the Forest of Dean.

Then I have my Christmas planning section, which if I am honest is pretty bare!! I haven't really written anything in it! I will need to start soon! As it is nearly Christmas!

Next section is lists:

On the left is my stationery ordering list which is usually just a rough scribble and I swap the paper over to the opposite side after a while.

On the right are films and tv programmes I want to watch

I also have a list of films I watched, when I was recovering from my surgery I watched a lot of films!

I have a list of people who have requested to join a group I admin, as I am very picky about who gets accepted

Then I have my bucket list! It isn't a complete bucket list as it is all more things that I can do, some things are a bit more extravagant

Information section, not very exciting!

I have some cute Address sheets made by Cute Organizing! They are lovely, but I cannot show you them as they have address on, it also comes with a birthday planner!

I did have a password section at the back, which has now been removed due to my 2015 inserts needing to go in!

At the back I have some cards, break down recovery, NI card, CSMA Club card and my Medical Exemption Certificate Card.

In the big pocket at the back I keep important documents I need, like appointment letters and such!

That was a complete tour of my Gillio, a lot has changed since I took these photos!

2014 Gillio Tour - Part 2

Welcome to Part 2 of the our around my Gillio!! 

The next part of my Gillio is the Weekly section! I really love these inserts by Cute Organizing!! They just make me feel happy when I open up my diary! 

The firs thing I have is another picture of my boyfriend and I, because it makes me smile, it was another I had for my op, but I wanted to have it in my diary just as it is cute!

As you can see I am using a week on a page, and between each week I have a clear fly leaf, and my today ruler, but the fly leaf sticks out a bit so works as a today ruler too! I do not know why I cut my ruler in half but I seem to like it that way, so much better!

On my fly leaf I put sticky notes about things I need to remember, like stationery companies who keep hassling me! Which happens regularly at work!

I keep all of the past weeks together with a Smile Clip, I love these clips so much they sell them at Cult Pens! They are just so cute and happy and hold so much paper and do not damage it, they also do not take up too much room and are not as bad for writing over!

Here is a close up of my Ruler, as you can see I have a rainbow bunny, a my little pony and a panda! And half a Gillio Sticker! That is from when I cut it in half, I had the Gillio Sticker in the middle!

Here is an example of my pages! I have a bit of Star Ferry tape from Midori at the bottom on this page! The countdown is to my Holiday in the Forest of Dean!

I only included this picture as I wanted you to see my new favorite tape!!! It is just so pretty!

At the back I record all my holiday, so I know how many days I have taken and then I can have a record in case my boss forgets when I have been off! It works well! I do have one on the computer too but I prefer this one!

On the other side of the paper is my Overtime sheet, which hasn't got much on as I am starting overtime next week, yay..... not so yay!  Now on to my Notes Section!

This was some notes I wrote about having to go to the doctors for some blood tests! I am a bit like a pin cushion always needed to be poked and prodded

The next few pages were me trying to decide what diary inserts/diary format to use for 2015! I think I have decided when it arrives I will share it with you!

I have a Cashback Claim sheet so I can write when cashback has been claimed etc! It is very useful and it means I can keep track of it!

Next my To-Do list section!

My To - Do section is quite simple, it is just a list which I scribble and tick as ticking isn't enough, I cannot have a to do list without a sticker on as it makes it seem more cheerful!
