Paperchase Sticky Notes Review - #2 - Study Mate

As you can tell these are going to be absolutely adorable Sticky Notes, I love how the cover is a harder cardboard which makes it a lot more protected and keeps the sticky notes safe inside, it is an amazing design.

As you can tell you have lots of options with this set of sticky notes but there is one issue I have noticed so far, that is the large lined sticky note at the bottom is TOO WIDE for a Personal Filofax, it is more suited to A5, I still use them for shopping lists though to give to my dad!

They measure at 14cm x 10cm when a Personal Filofax page is 17cm x 9.5cm so they are just too wide which drives me mad! They were my favorite out of the sticky notes as well.

One thing I really like about these is these sticky notes below:

They are perfect for highlighting things in your diary or using as titles for pages, like to-do it is amazing at the top of a to-do list! And the pictures are oh so cute! I am so in love with these.

My only issue is the smaller lined one which is 7.5cm x 5cm is just a bit too small in a way for me to write much on and the lines are too big but otherwise these are winners for me.

The all important writing test...

I used the same 4 pens as in my last Sticky Note post...

This paper seems to be of a bit better quality as the ink does not bleed as much which is good!

These sticky notes are AMAZING if you are wanting to combine them with your Filofax for lists or if you are using A5 and want a larger lined sticky note! They were £4.50

Paperchase Sticky Notes Review - #1

I did a video about my sticky note collection, in which I spoke about some sticky notes someone had sent to me but I wished I could have some more of them. See video below...

 I posted some pages from the Day Timer diary to Gail of It's My Life! In return she sent me the Sticky notes I had been craving and some amazing diary stickers, which she had made, which are extremely useful! Here is my review of them!

They come presented in lovely card packaging like most Paperchase Sticky Notes, but these have got a book kind of cover then all the sticky notes under neath.

There is quite a range of sticky notes, and all different sizes.

They are useful as they are lined you are able to make shopping lists or use the graph one to write up a budget easily. There is also 4 page markers, which I have noticed Paperchase ALWAYS seem to have in their sticky note packs.

Here is the writing test...

I tried out 4 rather standard types of pen, a Lamy Fountain Pen, Uniball Signo Gelstick, Uniball Eye Fine and Frixion 0.5mm Needlepoint.

As you can see out of the 4 pens the Fountain pen bleeds through, and so does the Uniball Eye, not that it matters as you only use one side of a sticky note but it is still useful to know!

They are find for sticking on paper but they are not as strong at being stuck on wooden surfaces, I am sure they would stick well to shiny metal or plastic surfaces.

Overall I absolutely LOVE these post it notes as you can make amazing lists on them and date stamp them first! Tidily as well as you have lines to follow!

Lovely Present!

Hello!

I was talking to Tracey the other night on twitter (@icclewu) and she said, I have bought you a present it was something we were talking about the other day! I was very excited about it, she told me she posted it on Friday, I was in bed then at 1ish the parcel turned up on the Saturday! 

I was very excited I had an idea about what it could be as it was the only thing i could think of that we had spoken about! 

The funny thing is, i was going to buy this on Friday in Staples but said no, as i spend £5 on Avery lables already! 

So here is the parcel! 

So i opened it and this is what i found! 

ARROW POST ITS!!!!! Just what i have been wanting!!! It made me so happy Thank you so much Tracey!!! 

She even put in a little letter :-) 

So here are the magnificent Post its and they even have PRETTY PATTERNS! 

And they are Super Sticky Which makes them even better!!!

Office Depot Sticky Notes Review

Today my stationery order came (well the one for the office). I wanted to try some different post it notes (well not actual branded, there sticky notes sorry, how un PC of me).

So I ordered these which came in a set of 12, with four different colours!

There not all really neon like there supposed to be the Green and Orange were a bit of a let down to be honest!

But my two favourites are the Pink and Yellow!

At this moment how much do you all want me to be your Secretary, getting the best post it notes, but for cheap prices! And you will see more about what I do at work at the bottom for birthdays!

I first of all started with a sticking test! To see how well they stuck to things, there actually REALLY sticky, not too sticky not too little sticky, there perfect!!

I have had four stuck on my desk throughout the day since I have got them and there all still standing!

The next test was the feel of the paper used, it feels like 80gsm so normal paper quality, which is perfect!

The final test was when you write on them with a biro does it go through, are they see through or anything like that does the colour change etc… you get the idea!

So here is my test, I wrote, it was a bit random but I wrote the date and the temperature:

It didn’t come through the paper, but the ink changed to more of a darker blue, as it’s a normal blue biro!

But the pen wrote lovely on the paper so that was an extra bonus!!!

So all in all these post it notes are AMAZING!!!

Exactly what you need!!!

So if you’re the stationery buyer and you shop on Viking just do it, there amazing quality and I'm a very happy (non customer, but happy to use at work hehe).

I promised I would show you what I do for peoples birthdays in my office, this is going to make you all want me as your Personal Assistant haha!
