Filofax Tour 2012

Handbag Help

I ordered two handbags... (Click on the titles to take you to the web addresses so you can see more information and more pictures about each bag).

Modula Pippa in Black 

This bag has two front zipped pockets and a zipped pocket on the back, it has three large pockets separately zipped, you have to carry it more like a tea pot, the same way I carry my Alexa, but it is large and has plenty of room. I just found out that it is called the Pippa due to Pippa Middleton... random fact there!

Fossil Explorer Flap

This bag has similar pockets but different layout.

It has a zip along the bottom of the front of the bag, with a flap down, you lift the flap and it reveals two deep pockets and a main compartment with all sorts of functional pockets, even two card pockets so you wouldn't even have to carry a wallet!!!  Also it has a large zipped pocket (which is the flap) so it has a lot of storage too, but it is also floppy and not structured so you can put more in. This bag you can carry over your shoulder which is good.

They didn't have a darker brown when I ordered, otherwise a darker brown would of won (I bought them somewhere else but they didn't have as many pictures) (I had a voucher)  (As if I had the Fossil in a different colour I think I would go for that)

Pen Issues.....

As you all know I am now in the beautiful Compact Regency..

I have been using a Slimline Metal Barrel on a Frixion insert, it is silver, it just does not feel like it cuts the mustard any more, so I have been looking for a new pen. I bought it from Cult Pens a long time ago!

I decided to order two new pens from Cult Pens to try, but I am not sure, they were around £14 each..

Caran d'Ache 849 Metal Ballpoint Fluo - in Pink

Spacetec Pearl Ballpoint Pen - in Silver

This is a SPACE PEN!!! It can write at any angle as it has compressed nitrogen in apparently..

BUT I really really really want the Zebra Sharbo-X-ST3 Multi Pen

In black

You buy alsorts of inserts for it, 2 pens and one pencil, you need to buy it all separately but it would mean i can use black and blue as I prefer to write with blue but forms have to be filled out in black...

So does anyone have any pen recommendations for a Filofax user?

Why do I love Filofaxes?

I know that people NEVER understand the whole love for Filofaxes, and never get why I buy so many or love to look at it and feel it, well here are my reasons why, and oh there are lots more reasons this is just a few off the top of my head!

1. How beautiful they look and feel 

This is my New Compact Regency, I really am in love with her, the nobles on her leather, but how smooth it is, oh she is just a dream, the inside layout is just amazing, it has everything I need, she is just oh so perfect.

I love to feel the leather as it is just so soft but lumpy at the same time, I am really in love with her. I love to smell the spine down the hole where the rings are, just smells like a shoe shop (remember when you were little and you went to get new school shoes and all you could smell was a luscious smell of leather, well that's how she smells)

2. Tab's and Dividers 

I love how you can make it your own, have as many or as little tabs as you like, you can make your own you can use standard ones you can use stick on Avery tabs, the possibilities are actually endless! It just makes it so free and customisable so you can have EVERYTHING you need with you at all times!

3.Diary 

You can have your whole diary and have any format you require, you don't have to be stuck to one format for a year you can change as MANY TIMES AS YOU LIKE! You never have to be stuck with something for a whole year if it doesn't work for you, you just take it out and put in a new one! If you are feeling really adventurous you can EVEN make your own diary and print it off! Not one person has to have the same Filofax, it is all so different!

4. Planning 

You can plan and plan until your little heart is content, you can put EVERYTHING down on paper, you can print off bits of a travel plan hole punch it, fold it and put it your Filofax, you can use it as a travel organiser, a meetings organiser, a blog planner, you can use it for EVERYTHING you do, I make pages for different things I need to plan as I go along, or I look for old pages that people have any use them to my advantage, I love to plan everything to the smallest detail on paper, in my diary where it is safe and I know where it is, I never need to worry about it loosing power! IT IS ALWAYS ON!

5. Keeping Track of Things

I keep Track of so much in my Filofax, but I love how it doesn't matter if you miss something you can go back to it and fill it out at a later date, the data base wont close down, power cuts wont affect it, it will stay there until the ends of time (unless you use Frixion pens like me and then it will eventually evaporate). But it is the one thing I always go too.

And those are some reasons why I love to use a Filofax, I would recomend them to anyone I would sell them to the world, I will make it so that every person has to own one on their 18th birthday if I could, they can help you out so much with your lives. So everyone go out and buy one today! eBay has so many bargains, just go out and make it your own and have the best Filofax Life you can!!!
